Information Systems Audit Assessment Test (ISA-AT) – December 2017

ICAI has released the notification for Information Systems Audit Assessment Test (ISA-AT) – December 2017. ICAI has informed that the next Information Systems Audit (ISA) Course Assessment Test will be held on December 23, 2017 (Saturday) from 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM (IST) at the 61 test cities. Interested and eligible Candidates are advised to carefully read, understand and follow the instructions while filling the form before the last date Dec 06, 2017 to reach ICAI office.

With the new challenges threatening the traditional domain, the council of the Institute – by commissioning ISA course – is not just coping with the demands of IT dynamics. It also seeks to leverage technology to enhance the professional skills of its members. An ISA qualified Chartered Accountant can convert the basic IT challenges ERP/CAAT/GAS/E-Governance/ Network security /IT Services/ and others into better opportunities, which are in increasing demand. ISA course is developed by ICAI to facilitate Chartered Accountants who are participants of post qualification courses (PQC) on Information System Audit.

There is no doubt that Chartered Accountants with ISA qualification will play a major role in Information Systems Audit (ISA) in the coming years. Interested members of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) are advised to carefully read, understand and follow the instructions while filling the Form before December 06, 2017 for ISA-AT scheduled on December 23, 2017 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Details of ISA-AT December 2017

  • Last date for filling of online application at the site http://isaat.icaiexam.icai.org is December 06, 2017 (Up to 5.30 PM)
  • Date of Examination: Saturday, December 23, 2017
  • Timings of Examination: 09.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. (IST)
  • Examination Fee: Rs. 2100/- (Rupees Two Thousand One Hundred Only) including Rs.100/- as cost of application form.
  • Mode of Payment of Fee: Exam fee is to be remitted Online only using Master/ Visa/ Maestro Credit/Debit Card. However, payment through NetBanking is NOT accepted.

Eligibility for ISA Course Assessment Test – June 2017

Candidates who have already passed the Information Systems Audit Eligibility Test ( ISA ET) / have been issued Eligibility Certificate by the Committee on Information Technology (CIT) of the Institute are eligible to apply for appearing in the Information Systems Audit Assessment Test ( ISA AT) scheduled to be held on December 23, 2017.

Mere possession of Professional Training Certificate is not enough for becoming eligible to appear in the Assessment Test unless a person has been declared “Pass” in the ISA Eligibility Test / an Eligibility Certificate to this effect has been issued to him/her by the Committee on Information Technology of the Institute.

Pre-requisites for ISA PT (Professional Training)

The first step in ISA Post Qualification Course is Professional Training (PT) of 80 hours which is generally organized on five weekends (Sat/ Sun).

How to Apply for Information Systems Audit Assessment Test?

Aspirants can visit the official website on or from November 22, 2017, to apply for Information Systems Audit (ISA) Course Assessment Test – Dec 2017. Though the details are captured online, yet, it is advised to send the printout (PDF) of the filled-in form by Speed Post / Registered Post along with copy of Membership Certificate or Identity Card etc. to the Joint Secretary (Exams), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ‘ICAI Bhawan’, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi 110002,  on or before December 06, 2017.

Also, keep the copy of PDF for own records at least till the release of admit cards. Candidates are further advised to check and ensure that a numbered Barcode and Fee transaction details are appearing in the PDF indicating that their application has been successfully captured. The applications received after December 06, 2017 will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Issue of Admit Card

The Admit Cards for the ISA Course Assessment Test will be hosted on the same site and candidates are requested to download the same from the above website.

Cutoff Marks for passing the ISA Course Assessment Test

A candidate for the Information Systems Audit (ISA) Assessment Test shall be declared ordinarily to have passed the test if he/she secures a minimum of 75 %of the scaled marks in the aggregate in the ISA AT Course marks in aggregate in the ISA Course Assessment Test.
