The Class of 2020 of ESADE B-School that started this September has 97% of International Students. The full-time MBA at ESADE B-School in Barcelona, Spain is ranked as number 1 MBA for women in Europe, 2nd for Salary increase in Europe and 4th in international course experience in the world for the year 2018 by Financial Times.
ESADE allows full-time MBA students a choice of three formats ranging from an accelerated 12 month, 15 months and 18 months. Since the final course length decision is taken only at the end of Term 3, around April-May, all the students start the program and graduate together, besides mandatorily completing the same number of credits.
ESADE Class of 2020 Student’s Profile
The Class of 2020 that began classes in September 2018 has 187 students, with the gender ratio of 30% female and 70% male. With 97% international students, 51 nationalities find representation in the class. Their average age is 29 and they have an average work experience of 6 years.
In the academic background, the break-up is 48% in Economics & Management, 30% Engineering, 5% each in Law and Humanities & Social Sciences. Science & Healthcare, Arts and Others complete the list at 4% each.
Sector-wise, 50 percent of students are from Industrial & General Services, 20 percent from Financial Services, 16 percentage from Consulting, 9 percent from Technology and the remaining 5 percent from Other sectors.
By functional area, 24 percent of them are from Marketing & Sales, 20 percent from Finance, 17 percent from General Management, 15 percent from Operations & Logistics, 8 percent of students from Information Systems, 5 percent of students from Consulting functional area and 11 percent are from Others.

4-C of ESADE B-School
