University of Rajasthan Recruitment 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Assistant Professor Post : Candidate should have done Ph.D Degree in regular mode from UGC recognized University or should have a good academic record, 55% marks at the Master’s Level in relevant subject and qualified in National Eligibility Test (NET) /State Level Eligibility Test (SLET / SET) Examination.
- For Associate Professor Post : Candidate should have posses Ph.D Degree in concerned subject or Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks. Candidate should have also 08 years of experience in teaching or research as a Assistant Professor in University or College.
- For Professor Post : Candidate should have done Ph.D in respective subject and publishing work of high quality actively engaged in research with research. Candidate should have also a minimum of 10 years of experience of teaching or research in University/ National level Institutions.
- For Deputy Librarian Post : Candidate should have done Master’s Degree in library science/ Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% of marks and 05 years of experience as Assistant University Librarian/ College Librarian.
- For Librarian Post : Candidate should have posses Master’s Degree in library science/ Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% of marks or at least 13 year experience as Deputy Librarian in a University library or 18 years of experience as College Librarian.
Application Fee for University of Rajasthan Recruitment 2017
The candidates who want to apply should pay the application fee though online payment gateway. Category wise fee details is followed as :
- General & OBC (Creamy Layer) : Candidate should have deposit application fee of Rs. 1000/-.
- SC/ ST /OBC of Rajasthan State : Candidate should have deposit application fee of Rs. 500/-.
- Physical Handicapped (PH) Category : Candidate should have deposit application fee of Rs. 100/-.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected by the officials of the University of Rajasthan based on merit. Weightage will be given to performance of candidate in different dimensions and their performance on a scoring system proforma based in Academic Performance Indicators as provided in ordinance.
In case a large number of applications are received then shortlisting of applications for Assistant Professor or equivalent position will be done by merit list on the basis of :
- Academic Background
- Ph. D Degree – 10 Max
- Teaching Experience as a associate professor in regular scale – 20 Marks
- Research papers to be given 1 mark to each paper published in the journals approved by UGC – Max. 20
- Research Experience as a Post Doctoral on fellowship – 10 Max.
