BITSAT 2020 Application Form Released for Admission at BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad Campus

The Birla Institute of Technology Science (BITS) Pilani has released online application forms for admission to its Integrated First Degree programmes at Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa campuses for the academic year 2020-21. The last date to fill BITSAT 2020 application forms is March 21, 2020.

BITS Admission Test, BITSAT 2020 is a Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted from May 16 to May 25, 2020. The candidates who are interested in doing the undergraduate programme from BITS campus can apply for the BITSAT examination 2020.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2020

To apply for BITS Pilani Integrated first degree programme admission, a candidates must have the below given eligibility criteria for BITSAT-

1. The candidate must have passed the 12th exam of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board in the subjects like PCM or PCB (for B.Pharma) and adequate proficiency in English.
2. An aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 12th class exam and atleast 60% marks in each of the subjects.
3. The candidates who are appearing in the 12th exam in the year 2020 or who have cleared their 12th in 2019 can apply for the BITSAT 2020.

BITS Direct Admission Process

Candidates, who are board toppers in central or any state education board, will be offered direct admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes of Engineering and BE (Honours) at the 3 campuses in their preferred branches, irrespective of their scores/rank in BITSAT 2020. However, they have to meet the aforementioned BITSAT 2020 eligibility criteria.

BITSAT Application Form 2020

BITSAT 2020 application form was released on January 11, 2020, the process to apply is completely online. The last date to apply for online registration is March 31, 2020. Below given are the steps to fill the application form.

• Candidates have to access and register at the official website of BITSAT 2020.
• In the application form fill all the requisite details.
• Candidates have to upload a scanned passport sized photograph and scanned image of signature. The size of the photograph should not exceed 50 Kb and signature file size should not exceed 30 Kb.
• Candidates have to pay the application fees online via debit/credit card or through the net banking. The application fees for the applicants are as below –

BITSAT Exam Syllabus

The exam will be conducted on the basis of the NCERT syllabus of class 11th and 12th. The syllabus comprises the topics of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English Proficiency and logical reasoning. For detailed syllabus check the official website of the BITSAT 2020.

BITSAT 2020 Exam Pattern

The BITSAT 2020 exam will be Computer based online test (CBT), from 16th May to 25th May, and the exam duration will be of three hours. The exam paper will have Multiple choice questions (MCQs). For each correct answer, three marks will be awarded. Any incorrect answer will attract the penalty of negative marking, that is one mark. The test will have four sections that are Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics/Biology.

BITSAT Examination 2020 Test Centers

• Applicants can choose a maximum of three exam centers according to their preferences.
• In total there are 57 cities across India and one international center i.e in Dubai, UAE, where BITSAT 2020 will be conducted.
• The candidate who is planning for the test center in Dubai can only be able to fill the one center in their preference.

BITSAT Slot Booking

For booking the slot candidates need to log-in to their account using their application number, gender, date of birth and registered email ID. In the case candidates miss to book the slot for BITSAT 2020 then it will be allotted by the authorities default. While appearing for the entrance test it is preferable for the candidates to know about their test date.

Candidates will have to select a date, time and exam centre for the entrance test as per their preference during the BITSAT slot booking procedure. The slot bookings will be done on the basis of first come first serve, therefore candidates are advised to book their slot as soon as possible.
