CPT (Common Proficiency Test) is the first step to become CA. To appear for CPT, a student must prior registered for it. After sharing the basic details of CPT in our previous article, today we are providing CPT registration process, CPT June 2017 Exam Schedule, Fees and other details. ICAI conducts CPT Exam twice in a year in the months of June and December.
Next CPT exam will be conducted on Sunday 18th June 2017. If you want to write CPT exam in June 2017, you should register on or before 31st March 2017. If you are not registered yet, AfterGraduation here provides the required details. After registration, you should apply for CPT exam June 2017.
Cut off Dates For CPT June 2017
A student who has got registered for Common Proficiency Test 60 days prior to the first day of the month in which CPT examination is to be held i.e. on or before 1st April and 30th September, can appear in the CPT examination to be held in June and December respectively. So, last date For CPT June 2017 Registration is 31-03-2017.

Registration Fees for CPT June 2017

CPT June 2017 Exam Fee
Applications for admission to Common Proficiency Test is required to be made in the relevant prescribed form as contained in the Information Brochure, which may be obtained from the Deputy Secretary (Examinations), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110002 on payment of INR 1500/- ( Rs 500/- towards examination fee and Rs 1000/- towards cost of application form and Information brochure) per application form.
The fee for candidates opting for Abu Dhabi and Dubai, centres will be US $170 (US $ 150 towards examination fee and US $ 20 towards cost of application form and information brochure) or its equivalent Indian Currency. The fee for the candidates opting for Kathmandu centre are required to remit INR.1850/-(INR 850/- towards examination fee and INR 1000/- towards the cost of application form and information brochure) or its equivalent foreign Currency.
Since the cost of Information brochure containing Common Proficiency Test application form includes the examination fee, no separate fee is required to be remitted at the time of submitting the filled in application form. The Information brochure containing Common Proficiency Test application form will also be available in the Regional and Branch Offices of the Institute and can be obtained there from on cash payment on or from 5th April, 2017.

The candidates who fill up the examination application form online at http://icaiexam.icai.org from 5th April 2017 (10.00 hrs) to 26th April 2017 (17.30 hrs) and remit the fee online by using either VISA or MASTER Credit / Debit Card shall not be charged Rs 1000/- (i.e. cost of application form fee).

Offline Registration for CPT June 2017
An aspirant can buy a Prospectus from all Regional Offices/ Branches of the Institute by remitting Rs.100/-. The Application form for Registration to the course is available with the Prospectus. - CPT registration fee is to be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of “The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, payable at concerned Regional Office i.e. Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur or New Delhi”. If Registration Form is downloaded from the Institute’s website, add Rs. 100/- or US $10 along with Common Proficiency Course (CPC) Registration fee for supply of a copy of the Prospectus along with the study package.

The following documents to be enclosed along with the CPT Registration form:
(1) Demand Draft towards registration and other fees.
(2) Attested copy of Date of Birth and 10th pass Marks Statement.
(3) Attested copy of proof of Nationality, if student is foreigner.
(4) Attested copy of proof of special category certificate i.e. SC/ST, OBC and Differently abled.
