The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) released the exam date for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic precautions, ICSI has decided to conduct the next CSEET exam through remote proctored mode on January 8. Candidates can undertake the CSEET Exam 2022 in their homes/ such other convenient place through their own laptop/ desktop.
It is mandatory to pass the CSEET to take admission in the Executive Programme of Company Secretary course. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam from a recognized education board are eligible to register for the CSEET exam.
Candidates are allowed to appear for the test through their own laptop/desktop from home/such another convenient place. Candidates shall not be allowed to appear through smartphone (mobile)/ tablet etc. The ICSI CSEET exam 2022 shall be conducted through remote proctored mode instead of conducting the same from test centres.
The official notice state that, “In view of the Remote Proctored mode, the Viva Voice portion stands removed for the CSEET to be held on 8th January 2022”.

ICSI CSEET 2022 Exam Pattern
CSEET will comprise 140 computer-based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) of 200 marks and the students will be required to attempt those in 120 minutes. The subjects from which the question paper will be prepared are—
- Business Communication (35 questions),
- Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning (35 questions)
- Economic and Business Environment (35 questions)
- Current Affairs (15 questions), and Presentation and Communication Skills (20 questions).
ICSI CSEET Passing Criteria
Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 40 percent marks in each of the papers, and 50 percent marks in aggregate of all parts put together for passing the test. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
CSEET Exam 2022 Admit Card
CSEET admit card 2022 will be issued 10 days prior to the examination. In case of any technical issues during the test process, candidates can reach out to help desk numbers 9513850016, 9513850025 to resolve their issues. The helpline number will be operational from January 4, 2022.
Soon after taking the printout of the CSEET Admit card from the website of institute icsi.edu, every candidate must verify all the details mentioned on it, such as–name, photograph, signature, admission number, date, and timings of the test, etc.
