Executive Programme in Communication strategies by IIM Calcutta for Corporate Leaders

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta is all set to launch the Executive Programme in Communication Strategies to meet the needs of corporate leaders. The Executive Programme in Communication Strategies for Corporate Leaders (EPCSCL) will commence in January 2020.

This six-month IIM Calcutta’s executive programme is for people with over eight years of work experience. The programme will be delivered via integrated virtual and classroom sessions.


The overall goal of the programme is to equip the present and prospective leaders with strategic skills in communication to enable them assume leadership positions in future.

Programme Duration and Delivery

The duration of the programme is six months which will have 28 virtual/classroom sessions comprising 10 learning modules with a blend of lectures, case studies, videographed presentations and detailed personalized feedback.

The program will be delivered through classes held once a week i.e. Saturday from 9.00 am- 12 noon. The class schedule will be decided in consultation with the Program Directors, IIMC.


Also, candidates will have to spend six days at the IIM Calcutta campus for the class room sessions. The first leg of the three-day campus visit will be scheduled in the middle of the programme and the last leg of three visits would be at the end.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates wishing to participate in the programme must be –

  • Working professionals
  • Have a minimum experience of eight years.
  • A graduate degree holder in any discipline with at least 50 per cent marks.

Programme Fees

Candidates will have to pay a programme fee of Rs 1.26 lakh + applicable GST. Also an amount of Rs 36,000 + applicable GST needs to pay as campus module. The application fee for this programme is Rs 1000.
