Financial Assistance Scheme to CA Students: The Board of Studies (BOS) provide various ICAI Financial Assistance Scheme to CA Students, namely, Merit, Merit-cum-Need based and Need-based and Weaker Sections. The Board of Trustees of the Chartered Accountant Students Benevolent Fund (CASBF) has announced Scholarship for needy, financially weak but meritorious CA students.
The board of Trustee of the CASBF has decided to provide financial assistance/scholarship for amount of Rs. 1500/- PM, to students who are registered in CA Intermediate /IPCC course and serving articled training as well as amount of Rs. 2000/- PM for those students registered in CA Final Course and serving of articled/industrial training on the date of application.

This Financial Assistance will be given in lump sum for the period of one-year i.e 01st April ,2019 to 31st March, 2020. The last date to receive the prescribed filled application form to ICAI office to avail ICAI Financial Assistance Scheme is December 15, 2019.

The Eligibility Criteria of CA Students for obtaining Financial Assistance from CASBF are as under:
- Candidate must have a valid registration in CA course
- Applicant must be undergoing articled/industrial training currently as per CA Regulations, 1988
- The Annual income of applicant’s parents from all sources must be less than Rs. 3.0. Lakh per annum.
Students as above who are fulfilling the eligibility criteria may apply in the prescribed Application form, duly filled in and recommended by any of Central Council Member/Chairman/Vice-Chairman/Secretary of the Regional Council/Ex-President/Chairman/Vice-Chairman and Member-Secretary/Board of Trustees of CASBF and send to the Member Secretary, Chartered Accountants Students Benevolent Fund so as to reach at the following address latest by 15th December, 2019.
