GATE 2020 Correction window: Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has begun the application correction window for GATE 2020 applicants to make changes in the Examination paper field in the application form.
While, the GATE 2020 correction process for details like Examination City, Candidate Name, Gender, Father’s Name, PwD Status, College Name etc. was already going on, started on October 15, 2019.
Students who have applied for GATE 2020 examination and have made any error while filling the application form or wish to make some changes in the Examination Paper, Examination City, Candidate Name, gender, Father’s Name, College Name etc. etc fields in the form can visit the GATE official website to make the necessary changes.
To make the changes in the GATE 2020 application form, applicants need to visit the official website and log in GOAPS portal for corrections.
How to make Corrections in GATE 2020 Application?
Follow the below steps for the corrections in GATE 2020 application form.
Step 1: Visit the GATE 2020 official website and click the link provided on the homepage.
Step 2: or Click on the direct link for GOAPS Portal Link.
Step 3: Enter the Enrollment ID/Email id and password in the login portal.
Step 4: Make the changes in the required filed.
Step 5: Review the changes made and submit the application.
GATE 2020 Admit Card
After the form correction process is over, IIT Delhi will release the GATE 2020 admit cards on January 3, 2020 through the official website. Once the admit cards are been released there will be no chance to update, correct or make changes in the submitted details.
GATE 2020
GATE 2020 will be conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2020, in two sessions for 25 subjects including Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Architecture and Planning, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering among other subjects. The examination for each subject will be computer-based. The morning session of the examination will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon session will be conducted from 2: 30 PM to 5: 30 PM.
Also, IIT Delhi has also released mock test and the link for the same can be found on the official GATE 2020 website. Further, the GATE 2020 exam result is expected to be released on march 16, 2019.. GATE 2020 score will be valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is conducted every year, its score is used for shortlisting candidates for admission to post-graduate engineering courses (M.Tech, Direct PhD programs) offered at IITs, IISc and other top engineering colleges. In addition to this GATE scores are also used by various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) for recruitment purpose.
