GATE 2021 Admit Card Correction Facility Open Till January 13, Download GATE Hall Ticket Through Direct Link

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) has opened the GATE 2021 admit card correction facility for the candidates to submit grievances against the issued admit card for GATE 2021 and ask for modifications in it.

IITB has released the admit cards for GATE 2021 on Friday, January 8. To download the GATE 2021 admit cards from the GATE 2021 official website, a student has to enter their enrollment id or email id and password.

GATE 2021 is scheduled to be held on February 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14. This year, as many as 9,13,272 GATE admit cards have been generated. Candidates who have registered for GATE two papers have to download two separate GATE 2021 admit cards using the same login credentials.

“It is to be noted that only the discrepancies, if any, from the filled up registration/ application form, will be rectified. No change in existing filled-up data will be allowed,” read an IIT Bombay statement. The administering body has also allowed the candidates to submit grievances against the issued GATE 2021 admit card. Students can apply for correction in their admit card till January 13.

  • Visit the GATE 2021 official website — gate.iitb.ac.in
  • On the designated “Download Admit Card” link, click.
  • Enter GATE 2021 Id and other login credentials on the next window.
  • Submit and download the GATE 2021 hall ticket.

Admit Card is one of the most important documents that candidates must carry to the examination hall. No student will be allowed to sit without a proper hall ticket and valid ID proof. The GATE Admit card shall only be available on the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website. Authorities are not going to send the admit card to the candidates via mail or post.

The GATE Admit Card carries the important instructions for the candidates along with important information like Registration Id, Roll Number, Venue, Date of Examination, Time/Session, reporting time, and Subject details (paper code).

In case candidates find any discrepancy in the hall ticket, they can contact the respective zonal GATE office via email with a copy to the organizing institute (IITB) for the correction. The students have to email the respective GATE 2021 zonal office with Subject Line “Correction in Admit Card” by January 13.

While GATE exam is a gateway for various postgraduate and doctoral programmes offered in Indian Educational Institutions – IITs, IISC, NITs, and various prestigious institutes, pertaining to Engineering, Technology, and Architecture.

A candidate qualifying GATE, a national level entrance exam would not only open the gateway (admission) for postgraduate engineering courses (M.E., M.Tech, direct PhD) in IISc/IITs/NITs but also can have the opportunity for PSU recruitment (Public Sector Undertakings) process.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 has been organized by IIT Bombay. This year, the GATE exam will be conducted for 27 subjects on February 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14 across 200 cities in India.
