IBPS Clerk exam is one of the most popular bank examination held across India for Clerical cadre Posts vacancies. IBPS Clerk Prelims 2019 for 12075 Vacancies is scheduled to be held on December 7, 8, 14 and 21, 2019. The online registration for the examination has already started from 17th September and will close on 9th October. IBPS Clerk Recruitment Process is based on two written exams -Prelims and Mains. IBPS Clerk Prelims Examination Overview
The basis of the test is to evaluate the students on the basis of their skills such as aptitude and English. The test is divided into three parts, namely – English, Quantitative (Numerical) Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The total marks are 100 and a composite time of one hour is provided for the test. Candidates have to qualify this section as per as some cut off to proceed to the mains.

IBPS Clerk Exam Syllabus
The syllabus can be broadly classified as per the three sections-
For English ability, the main topics are as follows: Vocabulary, Punctuation, Grammar, Comprehension, Error finding, fill-ups, etc.
For Numerical ability, the main topics are as follows: simplification of problems, percentage, ratio and proportion, average, profit and loss, compound interest and simple interest, Time, speed and distance, Number system and series, data interpretation etc.
For reasoning ability, important topics are as follows: Linear and circular seating arrangements, Coding-decoding of words, Blood relations, Analogy, Syllogisms, Distance and directions etc.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Preparation Guidance
1. Make yourself aware of the Exam format:
This is the most basic step towards the preparation process. Have a thorough understanding of the exam pattern and the syllabus of the examination.
2. Have a Preparation Time table:
Making a time table and following it is a crucial process. Make a time table that is effective and non-monotonous. Give the weekdays for new topics and weekends for mock tests.
A rough idea for time table can be as follows :
Monday and Tuesday: Numerical Ability.
Wednesday and Thursday: Reasoning Ability.
Friday: English Ability
Saturday and Sunday: Mock tests and revision.
3. Make Short Notes:
It is very advised to make notes of important formulae, tricks. Making notes help in the revision and are very helpful at the last moment to brush up the topics. Mark any important points such as formula, concepts etc.
4. Study Materials:
