The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) under the Board of Studies has announced to conduct an ICAI Four Weeks Residential Programme on Professional Skills Development from November to December 2018 at Centre of Excellence.
There are separate programmes at a separate location for men and women Chartered Accountants. For Women participants, the programme will be held from November 25, 2018, to December 22, 2018, at Centre of Excellence, Hyderabad.
For Men participants, the programme will be held at Centre of Excellence, Jaipur from November 26, 2018, to 23rd December 23, 2018.
ICAI Four Weeks Residential Programme Objective
The programme aims to help the Chartered Accountancy students and newly qualified Chartered Accountants in imbibing the professional skills required for effective functioning in business organisations and the profession. The Programme environment focuses on the development of communication skills, personal qualities, interpersonal and teamwork skills, problem-solving skills and leadership skills.
Keeping in view the basic emphasis of the programme on Development of Communication and Writing skills and also to imbibe confidence in the participants the content of the programme have been thoroughly revised.

Eligibility Criteria For ICAI Four Weeks Residential Programme
Only students who have passed the Chartered Accountancy/IPCC/ PCC/ PE-II examination and pursuing last year of articled training or completed Articleship training are invited to join the course. Recently qualified Chartered Accountants, say 2-3 years are also welcome to join the course.
Salient Features of the Programme
- Emphasis on Soft Skills, Communication Skills and Personality Development.
- Part of Articleship Training.
- Management and Communication Skills (MCS) forming part of the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) need not be pursued.
- Special Sessions on Group Discussion.
- Preparation of Projects and Presentation Skills.
- Building Team Spirit.
Registration Fees and Deadlines
The fee is Rs. 48,000/- per participant for Four Weeks Residential Programme.
The course fee includes tuition fee, course material, boarding, lodging, local field visits (one), etc. Applicants may register by paying 20% of the fees i.e Rs 9,600 and the balance is to be paid before starting of the course. The payment should be made online using a Credit card or Net Banking facility using online payment portal.
In view of limited seats, please send your registration as early as possible.

Selection Criteria
In the case of over-response, students will be selected on the basis of logical criteria. First preference may be given to the qualified Chartered Accountants. Candidates who had applied but were refused admission in the earlier batches will also be appropriately considered. Selection of the candidates who will be allowed to undergo the programme will be made by Board of Studies or by a person/ group of Board of Studies.
