ICAI to Announce Results of CA Final May, Foundation June and CPT June 2018 on 20 July

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced to declare the Results of CA Final May (Old and New Course), CA Foundation June and CPT June 2018 Examination of the Chartered Accountants (CA) in next week on Wednesday, the 20th July 2018 around 06:00 pm. AfterGraduation shares the ways to access the CA results and the previous pass percentage of CA CPT and CA Final exams.

The result of the Information Systems Audit [ISA] Assessment Test held on June 23, 2018, is also likely to be declared on July 20, 2018, around 6.00 PM at the Institute’s office at New Delhi. The result of the Assessment Test will be available on the Institute’s website.

As per the last official notification released by ICAI, the CA Final Examination May 2018 Results and CA CPT June 2018 Results would be declared in the mid-July. The notification was released by ICAI Joint Secretary Exams on June 24, 2018.

ICAI had conducted the CA CPT and CA Foundation examination in the month of June 2018 and CA Final Exam in May 2018. Following the examination, there was fake news regarding the release of the CA Final and CPT Results 2018. Taking cognizance of the fake social media news, ICAI had confirmed that the results would be released in the month of July.

ICAI will also disclose the merit list (candidates securing a minimum of 55% and above marks and upto the maximum of 50th Rank in the case of Final Examination in accordance with the decision of the Examination Committee) on all India basis. The CA Final May 2018 Results, CA Foundation June 2018 Results or CPT June 2018 Results can be obtained through direct login on the official website, Email and SMS options, as provided by ICAI.

Candidate Can Check Results of CA – 

1. Through Portal

The result of CA exams will be announced on ICAI Exam official websites –

• icaiexam.icai.org
• caresults.icai.org
• icai.nic.in

To check the result, the candidates will have to enter the Roll Number and PIN Number or Registration Number. Hence, to check the result Roll Number is mandatory but candidates may choose between Registration or Pin Number. 

2. Through E-mail

The exam conducting body has also invited registration from those candidates of Final Examination and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) who wish to get their result in their mailbox on their e-mail. The registration for this will begin on July 16, 2018, and can be done from the official website icaiexam.icai.org only. The registered candidates will receive their result through email at their e-mail addresses registered on the official website immediately after the declaration of the result.  You can also submit your email and phone to receive notification regarding the result.

3. Through SMS

Apart from this, students of Final Examination, Foundation Examination and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) held in May/June 2018 can also access their result with marks through SMS. This service is available through India Times. Candidates want to check the CA results through SMS, need to register in advance by sending SMS at 58888. The complete procedure to check the result as mentioned below. 

i) For Final Examination result the following:-

Final Examination (New Course)

ii) For Foundation Examination result, the following:-

iii) For Common Proficiency Test (CPT) result, the following:-

The results of CA Final, Foundation and CPT will contain subject wise marks and Pass/Fail Status. It is important to note that the candidates who qualified will be able to download Rank Card within two weeks after the announcement of the result.

AfterGraduation congratulates to qualifiers of the ISAAT, CPT, Foundation and CA Final examinations. The qualifiers of CA Final examination will be certified as proper Chartered Accountant (CA). Whereas, the qualifiers of CPT and CA Foundation examination will move forward for their CA dream by applying for the further level of training and Intermediate course (IPCC).

Results of CA CPT: Previous Year Trends

For the CPT results declared for Dec 2016 attempt, the Pass Percentage was 46.4%. Pass Rate of Male students was 45.81% and Female students was 47.37%. A total of 70,383 sudents have appeared for the exam, out of which 32,658 have cleared the exam. This is the highest Pass Percentage since CPT has been introduced into CA Course.
