There is an important announcement regarding ICSI Pre-Exam test for CS Professional and Executive Students appearing for CS June 2019 Exams. All registered students of Executive and Professional Programmes (New Syllabus) stage(s) of CS Course are required to successfully complete ICSI Pre-Exam Test to become eligible for enrolment to June 2019 Session of CS Executive / Professional Programmes (New Syllabus) Examinations.
Such students desirous of appearing in June 2019 session of CS Executive / Professional Programmes (New Syllabus) examination are advised to complete the Pre-Examination Test well in advance as the examination enrolment for June 2019 Session is scheduled to commence on 26th February 2019.
Students of Executive and Professional Programme Stages who have switched over from Company Secretary (CS) Old Syllabus to New Syllabus (2017) shall be required to pass the PreExamination Test before seeking enrolment to Main Examinations.
The ICSI Pre-Exam Test for CS Executive and Professional Programme is required to be successfully Cleared before seeking enrolment to June 2019 CS Executive and Professional Programme Examinations. In the last exam session of CS in December 2018, the ICSI Pre-Exam was launched for CS Executive programme Exams.
After successfully completing the Pre-Examination Test, they may submit the examination form through the Online Portal. For any clarification, students may submit the query at ICSI Support Portal under the head Pre-Examination Test.

Eligibility for ICSI Pre-Exam Test
Students who are eligible and need to appear for this Pre-Examination Test for CS Executive and Professional programme June 2019 Exams are:
- Students who have registered on or after March 01, 2018 to Executive/Professional Programme New Syllabus 2017; and
- Students who have switched over from Company Secretary (CS) Old Syllabus to CS New Syllabus (2017) of Executive and Professional Programme Stages.
The ICSI Pre-Exam Test is a part of comprehensive e-learning project of the Institute for the students. Students, belonging to the above-mentioned categories, who fail to clear the Pre-Examination Test shall NOT be eligible for seeking enrolment to the CS Executive/Professional Programme (New Syllabus 2017) examinations. Students have to pay a one-time fee as a registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for Pre-Examination test.
Exemption from ICSI Pre-Examination Test
The Institute of Companies Secretaries of India exempted the students based on their Class Room Teaching performance also. Students passing the tests conducted as part of Class Room Teaching batches conducted by the Institute’s Regional and Chapter Offices are exempted from taking the Pre-Examination Test of the respective subjects/ modules.
