List of GATE 2018 Rejected Applicants Released by IIT Guwahati

Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IITG) has released the list of GATE 2018 Rejected Applications on its official page for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2018 – GATE exam is conducted every year by a consortium of zonal IITs. This year GATE 2018, is being conducted by IIT Guwahati (IITG).

As per the official notification on the homepage that read “List of duplicate applications rejected”. IITG has published the duplicate application list of the candidates who had registered for GATE 2018 more than once. IITG had earlier directed that Candidates must apply only once through a designated Regional Office only. The duplicate applications list available on the official website cites the Zone name along with the Enrolment ID of the candidates.

There are 856 GATE 2018 rejected applications listed on the official website, which could have resulted from duplicate or triplicate application submission by the same person. Candidates must check the list and go through these Enrolment IDs to ensure there’s no issue with their valid application. In case there’s a discrepancy, the registered candidate must report it immediately to the GATE 2018 organizing IIT – Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IITG).

GATE 2018 is scheduled to be organized on February 3-4, 2018 and February 10-11, 2018 at different test centres across India and six cities abroad in two sections 9 AM – 12 PM and 2 PM – 5 PM. GATE aspirants are candidates seeking admissions to various IITs, NIITs, IISc and other Institutions in the country to pursue the postgraduate degree – Master’s and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture field. Various Public State Undertakings (PSUs) too recruit candidates based on their GATE scores.

Earlier in last week of October, the GATE 2018 conducting institute has initiated the GATE 2018 Online Application Corrections Process. Last week, IITG had opened the option to change the Examination City on November 13, 2017, and the window was closed on November 17. The GATE 2018 Admit Cards are expected to be released on January 05, 2018 and that is exactly the time when the PSUs will also start posting their job vacancies on the GATE 2018 IITG portal.
