There is an opportunity for Young professionals CMA/CS/CA in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) invites application from Young Professionals Chartered Accountants/Company Secretary/Cost Accountants to assist in processing and disposal of pending inspections, investigations and inquiries and important drives undertaken for the effective implementation of the Companies Act, 2013 in the field offices as well as headquarters.
Initially, MCA proposes to engage a total number of 80 Young Professionals (41 Chartered Accountants/Cost Accountants and 39 Company Secretaries) across various locations enlisted below on a contractual basis.
Job Description
The Professional Institutes (ICAI/ICMAI/ICSI) will be responsible for overall suitability and integrity of the Young Professionals before nominating the candidates on an objective and transparent criteria for interviews which will be held in the respective offices of the Regional Directors as well as at Ministry’s headquarters at New Delhi.
The ICSI, ICAI, ICMAI may nominate the candidates in the ratio of 3:1 i.e., 3 candidates against each vacancy.
The vacancies are purely on contract basis for an initial period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of four years, where the initial 3 months would be of probation.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA Young Professionals
The terms and conditions governing the engagement of Young Professionals would be as indicated below:
- The Young Professionals Must be a member of ICSI/ICAI/ICMAI with the minimum two years of experience post-passing their final examination
- Candidates with greater experience would be given preference.
- Selected candidates shall not practice as an individual profession i.e Chartered Accountants/Cost Accountants or Company Secretaries during the period of their engagement as Young Professionals.
Job Duration
The Young Professionals vacancies are purely on contract basis, where they would be engaged for a period of one year in the first instance. This period can be extendable up to a maximum of four years, where the initial 3 months would be of probation.
Salary Details
Ministry would pay consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- per month + Rs. 1,000/- as conveyance charges.

Terms and Conditions to apply for Young Professionals in MCA
A) All the selected Young Professionals will have to provide a declaration of fidelity and secrecy certified as prescribed by the Ministry.
B) Selected candidates shall not practice as CA/CWA/CS during the period of their engagement as young Professionals.
C) All the selected professionals would be imparted one week of orientation course before assigning the specified tasks.
D) No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates for attending the interviews.
E) The services of the young Professionals may be terminated by the Ministry/ regional Directorate by giving 30 days notice in case of the following eventualities-
1) Quality of the work performed is not to satisfaction of the Ministry/ Regional Director
2) Young Professional is unable to address the assigned work
3) The Young Professional fails in timely achievements of the approved work plan.
4) The young Professional is found lacking in honesty and integrity.
F) The young Professionals may also terminate the engagement by serving a notice of 30 days or one-month remuneration in lieu thereof.
G) One candidate can apply for a maximum of two locations more than two would not be considered.

All the interested and eligible candidates are required to submit their latest resume through Courier or personally at the Reception area of ICAI, ICSI and ICMAI by August 09, 2018 (Thursday) by 04:30 pm. The institutes will forward their resume to MCA for further consideration.
