This is a discussion on AfterGradution new article "Rs 2.8 Lakh Highest Stipend At IIT Bombay Summer Placement".

The highest stipend of summer placement at Shailesh J Mehta School of Management at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT B) was Rs 2.80 Lakh which is 40% higher than that of last year. The average stipend of SJMSM at IIT Bombay summer placement rose to Rs 1.19 Lakh, witnessing an increase of 27% over the previous year.

These internships will be carried out for 8-10 weeks. Paving the way for an amazing first salary, the students bagged offers in the summer placements from 40 participating companies. The batch has attracted many new recruiters and also bagged new profiles from existing recruiters.

Among the new companies include Ocwen Financial Services, Pidilite, Boehringer Ingelheim, United Health Group and Whirlpool with profiles offered in General Management, Sales & Marketing, BFSI and Supply chain management.
