CAT 2017 Result has been declared by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, the coordinating IIM for CAT 2017. The Common Admission Test CAT 2017 result enables candidates to opt for admission to postgraduate management programmes at 20 IIMs and other top business schools in the country. Candidates can check their score on the CAT 2017 official website. CAT result is declared in the form of percentile score with 100 percentile being the maximum.
To secure admission for management programmes in IIMs and other top Business Schools, the candidates who cleared CAT with the percentile criterion set by each institute will have to appear for a group discussion and personal interview and other admission process of the institute.
CAT Score are also used by non-IIM institutes such as MDI Gurgaon, SPJIMR Mumbai, GreatLakes, JBIMS Mumbai, FMS Delhi etc.
According to media reports, 20 candidates have scored an overall 100 percentile in CAT 2017. While in CAT 2016 results all the top 20 candidates were male and engineers, this year the top 20 list contains two female candidates and three non-engineers too.
