This is a discussion on AfterGraduation's new article "How To Prepare Personal Interview For B-Schools Admission?"

Personal Interview or PI is the last test that candidate have to compete to enter the top B-Schools for MBA programme. The pattern of an interview can never be assumed by the candidates after months of preparations. PI for B-Schools is having the duration of 10-30 minutes depending on how interesting you are during the process. PI is awarded highest weightage in admission criteria of final selection round. The PI round is one to one communication round that tests you on your skill along with your attitude, interest in surrounding events and way of presentation.

After the initial screening of the applications based on your entrance Score and your credentials, B-Schools calls for the next round of selection. In the final stages of their selection process, many Business Schools have either Group Discussion (GD) or Writing Ability Test (WAT) or added another component like Group Exercise or Case Discussion but Personal Interview has remained intact as the key component of the selection process during MBA admissions.
