The School of Insurance Studies under National Law University Jodhpur has begun the admission process for the two year MBA programme in Insurance. Admission into NLU Jodhpur MBA Insurance- 2019 will be granted on the basis of CAT/MAT/CMAT scores.

NLU Jodhpur MBA Insurance-2019 Eligibility Criteria
1. Academic Qualification
- Candidate must have Minimum 50% marks in class 10th and 12th and a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline including B.E./B.Tech. from a recognized Institute/University with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
- A relaxation of 5% marks for academic qualification shall be given to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
- Candidates perusing final examination of their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply but on final selection, they shall be given provisional admission subject to the following conditions:
i. Such candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in pre-final examination with passing back paper(s), if any in previous semesters/years.
ii. Candidates must produce the mark sheet of the final examination in original with minimum marks referred above under eligibility, before 30th September 2019 or within the extended time (not beyond 15th October 2019) ,which may be given by the University on the written request of the student giving reasons for non-production of the mark sheet of the final examination. University reserves the right to deny the request of the student.
iii. The mid-term examination result of such candidates shall not be declared.
iv. If condition No’s. (i) and (ii) referred above in this paragraph are not fulfilled, the provisional admission shall stand automatically cancelled and the University shall have no obligation to give any notice before such cancellation.

2. Qualifying Test
- The candidate must have appeared in CAT or MAT or CMAT 2018-2019 and scored a minimum 50 percentile in case of CAT, 160 total score in case of CMAT and 400 composite score in case of MAT.

Selection Criteria for NLU MBA in Insurance
Admission criteria for NLU MBA in Insurance shall be based on merit determined by calculating the following weightage:
1. 50% for marks obtained in Graduation/in pre-final examination in case of candidates perusing final examination of their Bachelor’s degree.
2. 50% for Qualifying Test on the following scale:

Number of Intakes for SIS Jodhpur 2019 Session

Reservation:
Seats are reserved as under:
i. For candidates belonging to SC and ST categories: 15% and 7.5% respectively.
ii. For Divyang (Physically Handicapped) candidates: 3%.
NLU Jodhpur MBA Insurance Admission Process
- An application may be submitted from the date of Web Notification.
- The last date for applications shall be 15th June 2019.
- The first ranking list shall be published by 20th June 2019 with a waiting list of five candidates.
- Selected candidates shall be required to deposit the fees by 25th June 2019. If any candidate from the main list does not deposit fees and complete the admission process by 25th June 2019 then he/she will lose the opportunity of being admitted thereafter and the vacant seat shall be fulfilled from the waiting list.
- The candidates from the waiting list if given opportunity will have to deposit the fees within the given time frame and the complete admission process will be over by 30th June 2019.
