CAT 2019 Answer Key Objection: IIM Kozhikode has activated the objection window for the CAT 2019 Answer Key. Candidates can visit the IIM CAT 2019 official website and can raise the objection through the below mentioned process.

The objection window will close on December 6, 2019 at 05:00 pm. The Common Admission Test, CAT 2019 was conducted on November 24 in two shifts in around 374 centres across 156 cities. As many as 2.40 lakhs candidate appeared for the examination. Following the completion of objection raising process, CAT 2019 final answer key is expected to be released by IIM Kozhikode on 7^th December 2019.

Steps to Raise CAT 2019 Answer Key Objection

Step 1: Visit the IIM CAT official website

Step 2: On the CAT 2019 homepage, click on the ‘Registered Candidate Login‘ link (option)

Step 3: Enter your requisite credentials – User ID, Password and then click login.

Step 4: You can raise an objection against the answer key published by CAT 2019 officials.

Step 5: Providing / Upload supporting documentary evidence supporting your challenge. Add Remarks supporting your objection / challenge.

Step 6: Make the payment as indicated for your objection.

Step 7: Click on the submit option. Your objection will be raised.

After submission of the challenge, the CAT exam authority will assess the same and confirm if they accept it or not. In case of acceptance, complete fee for raising the objection will be refunded to the candidate. The decision of the examination authority will be final against the objections raised.

Fees for Raising Objections against CAT 2019 Answer Key

As per the details provided by IIM Kozhikode, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1200/- for every challenge raised by them against the CAT 2019 answer key. This process of charging a nominal fee is followed by the exam authority to avoid students raising false objections.

Earlier on November 29, 2019, the exam conducting institute released the CAT 2019 official answer key and the individual response sheets containing the answers given by the candidates on its website.

CAT 2019 Result Date

As per the CAT 2019 official notification, the results will be announced in the second week of January, 2020. Last year i.e CAT 2018 results were declared on January 04, 2019.

The CAT exam is a gateway for admission to various postgraduate and fellow programs of IIMs. CAT 2019 score will also be used by top MBA institutes (non-IIM member institutions) in the country for admission to management programmes.

Admission Procedure through CAT 2019

• Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) shortlist candidates for the interview stage on the basis of their own criteria (which may be independent of each other), in which performance in the CAT 2019 examination is an important component.
• The shortlisted candidates will be further called for next rounds which may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI).
• IIMs uses other factors such as the Academic Performance, work experience, gender, and academic diversity and other similar inputs in shortlisting of candidates at various stages of the admission process.
• The admission processes, academic cut-offs and the evaluation parameters & weights may vary across IIMs.
