The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) [previously known as the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWAI)] announced information regarding ICWAI time table/exam dates for CMA Inter and Final Dec 2018 exams. In the notification, ICWAI announced that CMA Inter and Final exam Dec 2018 will be conducted from Monday, 10th Dec 2018. 

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) is the only licensing cum regulating body of Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) profession in India. It is a premier statutory professional accountancy body in India with the objects of promoting, regulating and developing the profession of Cost Accountancy.

Interested and eligible candidate can apply for CMA Intermediate and Final Dec 2018 exams before the last date, Oct 10, 2018. How to Apply For CMA Inter and Final Dec 2018 Exams?

• Application Forms for CMA Inter and Final Exam has to be filled up through online mode only. No Offline form and DD payment will be accepted for the domestic candidate.
• In case of Students opting for overseas Centres, they need to apply offline, forms are available at Institute’s Headquarters only on payment of $10 per application form and Send examination fees as DD along with the form.
• Students can login to the Institute website and apply online through payment gateway by using Net banking or Credit/Debit card.
• Students can also pay their Exam fee through IDBI Bank PayFee module.

Last Date For CMA Dec 2018 Exam Application Forms

Last date (Due Date) for receipt of CMA Exam Application Forms without late fees is October 10, 2018. Applications may also be accepted within 10 days after the last date with late fee of Rs. 300/- only (the US $10 for Overseas Centre).

Eligibility Criteria for CMA Inter and Final Dec 2018 Exam

A candidate who is completing all conditions for appearing the examination as per Regulation will only be allowed to appear for the examination. No candidate shall be admitted to the Foundation Course Examination unless

• he/she has a valid certificate/mark sheet No. of Foundation/Intermediate Exam.
• Completed the training as required.
• he/she is not debarred from appearing ICAI Examination for the Term of Examination;
• he/she has submitted the Examination form duly filled in within the specified time along with the
  requisite fees to the Director (Examination).

CMA Inter & Final – Amendments and Syllabus Changes

• The provisions of direct tax laws and indirect tax laws, as amended by the Finance Act, 2017, including notifications and circulars issued up to 31st May 2018, are applicable for December 2018 term of examination for the Subjects Direct Taxation, Indirect Taxation (Intermediate), Direct Tax laws and International Taxation and Indirect Tax laws & Practice (Final) under Syllabus 2016. The relevant assessment year is 2018-19. • Companies (Cost Records and Audit) Rules, 2014 as amended till 20th Dec 2017 is applicable for December 2018 examination for Paper 12- Company Accounts and Audit (Intermediate) and Paper 19- Cost and Management Audit (Final) under Syllabus 2016 for December 2018 term examination. 
• The provisions of the Companies Act 2013 are applicable for Paper 6 – Laws and Ethics (Intermediate) and Paper 13- Corporate Laws and Compliance (Final) under Syllabus 2016 to the extent notified by the Government up to 31st May 2018 for December 2018 term of examination.
• For Applicability of IND_AS and amended AS for paper 5 –Financial Accounting and Paper 12-Company Accounts and Audit (Intermediate) and Paper 17-Corporate Financial Reporting (Final) refer to relevant circular in the website for December 2018 term examination. Please refer to ICMAI Website.
• Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 2013 is being included in Paper 6- Laws and Ethics (Intermediate) and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016 are being included in Paper 13- Corporate Laws and Compliance (Final) under Syllabus 2016 for December 2018 term of examination.

CMA Inter and Final Dec 2018 Result Date

The probable dates for CMA Result Dec 2018 declaration is 21st February 2019.
