MAH MBA CET 2018, for the admissions to postgraduate management programmes (MBA/MMS) in B-schools across Maharashtra, will be conducted on March 10 and 11, 2018 in online mode. Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra has announced the MAH MBA CET 2018 exam dates and schedule. Through MAH MBA CET Exam, candidates can get admission to MMS, MBA, PGDM & PGDBM courses.
Interested and eligible Candidates can fill the application form of MAH MBA CET 2018 online from the third week of January 2018. MAH MBA CET 2018 Admit cards for successful applicants will be released tentatively from the third week of February 2018.
DTE, Maharashtra will declare the MAH CET result in the third week of March 2018. Around 40,000 seats are usually offered for admission in different B-schools across Maharashtra state on the basis of MAH MBA/MMS CET scores. Last year, the total number of applicants for the MAH MBA CET examination were 94,679 while as many as 88,226 candidates actually appeared for the exam. Around seven percent applicants dropped the test.
Following institutions admit candidates based on MAH MBA CET 2018 score. These institutes are approved and recognised by Maharashtra government and are affiliated to any of the Non-Agricultural University in Maharashtra State:
- All Maharashtra Government Management Education Institutes
- University Departments of Management Education
- University-managed Management Education Institutes
- All Un-aided Management Education Institutes covered as per the Act
Last year, the total number of participating institutes were more than hundred. It is likely that the number of the participating/affiliated institutes will shoot up this year. Some of the top B-schools which will accept MAH CET 2018 score are:

MAH MBA CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants applying for the MAH CET 2018 need to check the below eligibility criteria of MAH MBA/MMS CET 2018 formulated by DTE Maharashtra-
- Candidate should be a graduate degree or have acquired an equivalent degree from a recognised university.
- General category candidates must have 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and reserved category candidates (belonging to Maharashtra State only) must have 45 % in their graduation.
- Students, who are in their final year of graduation, can also apply for the examination. However, they need to produce their graduation certificate at the time of counseling.
- There is no age limit condition for candidates to appear for MAH MBA CET 2018.
MAH MBA CET 2018 Application Form
- Eligible and interested candidates can fill the MAH MBA CET 2018 application form through online mode only.
- The application forms are expected to start from the third week of January 2018 until the second week of February.
- Applicants first need to register by entering a valid e-mail id and generate a password. After the process of registration, the candidate needs to re-login and fill all the mandatory information required on the form carefully.
- Candidates are also required to upload their scanned photograph and signature.
- Fee Payment is the last step of the application procedure.
- The DTE Maharashtra, MAH MBA CET 2018 exam governing officials clearly states that no application form and fee will be accepted by post/courier or any other mode besides online submission. Else the Application Form will be rejected.
MAH MBA CET 2018 Application Fee
The application fee of MAH CET 2018 has to be paid online only either through net banking, IMPS or by a debit/credit card. Candidates belonging to the General category need to pay a fee of Rs 1000, while the fee for reserved category candidates will be Rs 800. The fee structure is expected to remain unaltered.

MAH MBA/MMS CET 2018 Exam Pattern
DTE will release the exam pattern of MAH MBA CET 2018 in detail along with the notification.
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted in online mode.
- Type of Questions: The question paper will be comprised of Multiple Choice questions (MCQ).
- Total Questions: There will be total 200 questions in the exam.
- Duration of Exam: Examination will be of two and half hours (150 minutes).
- Language: The paper medium will be English only.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be provided for each correct response.
- Negative Marking: For the incorrect response, no marks will be deducted.
