Salary Package

- Emoluments: Total emoluments works out to approximately Rs.23,000/- p.m. in the initial stage in a Metro city.
Other allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting. Apart from allowances, other benefits such as Lump sum Domiciliary Medical Benefits, Membership of Group Mediclaim Policy for reimbursement of Hospitalisation expenses, Leave Travel Subsidy and other Staff welfare schemes would be as per the rules of the Company.
Eligibility Criteria for UIIC Recruitment
- The candidate should be Graduate from a recognized University as on June 30, 2017.
- Must have proficiency in Reading, Writing and Speaking of the Regional language of the State of Recruitment.
- Minimum Age: 18 years and Maximum Age: 28 years (as on June 30, 2017). Candidates born not earlier than July 01, 1989 and not later than June 30, 1999 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply. The upper age limit will be relaxed as under government policies for reserved categories.
- Cumulative age relaxation will not be available either under above items or in combination with any other item.

How to Apply?
Candidates can apply online only from August 14, 2017, and no other mode of application will be accepted.
- Before applying online, candidates should scan their photograph and signature, Have a valid personal email ID and mobile no.
- Candidates should visit/login to the United India website www.uiic.co.in click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.
- To register application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details, and Email-id.
- A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
- Candidates are advised to carefully read and fill the details as required in the online application.
- After all the details are filled correctly, Click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
- On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form.
Selection Procedure
- All eligible candidates should apply online before the last date for registration of application.
- The selection process will consist of Online examination (Preliminary and Main Examination). Candidates qualifying in the Main Examination will be further shortlisted for Regional Language test before final selection.
Exam Pattern
The Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test) for 100 marks, would be of ONE Hour duration and will consist of 3 sections as follows:

The questions in objective tests, except for the test of English Language, will be made available in English and Hindi.
- Candidates will have to qualify in each test by securing the minimum qualifying marks as decided by the Company.
- An adequate number of candidates State-wise and Category-wise equal to 7 times of the respective number of vacancies will be shortlisted for Tier-II – Main Examination.
Tier-II: Main Examination:
The Main Examination (Online Objective Test) for 250 marks, would be of TWO Hours duration and will consist of 5 sections as follows:

- Candidates will have to qualify in each test/subject by securing the minimum qualifying marks as decided by the Company in the Main Examination.
- Candidates qualifying in the Online Main Examination will further qualify in the Regional Language Test, before final selection. However, no separate marks will be awarded for Regional Language Test. This test will be only qualifying in nature.
- Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Online Main Examination subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test.
