The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released the CS Foundation December-2019 timetable and schedule. The Computer Based Examination (CBE) December 2019 for CS Programme will be held on Dec 28 and Dec 29, 2019.
Admission to the Company Secretary (CS) Foundation programme is open throughout the year. ICSI conducts CS Foundation Examinations twice a year in the month of June & December month. To be awarded the CS certificate, one has to pass through 3 stages of CS programme namely CS Foundation, CS Executive & CS Professional programme.
The examination for the CS foundation programme is computer-based examination while Executive and Professional programmes are pen paper-based exams.

CS Foundation Registration Last Dates
CS Foundation Registration is open throughout the year. ICSI has declared the registration cutoff dates for the Candidates to appear in June or December examination. Students who have registered by March 31, are eligible to take Foundation examination earliest in the December month of the same year and those registered by September 30, can take up the examination in next year’s June month subject to the satisfactory completion of coaching.
So, if you want to write CS Foundation exam in Dec 2019, you should register before 31st March 2019 and for CS Foundation exam in June 2020, you would have registered before September 30, 2019.

Eligibility for CS Foundation Registration
- Candidates who have passed the 10+2 or equivalent (Senior Secondary) examination of a Board/University constituted by law in India.
- There is no requirement of the minimum percentage of marks secured at Senior Secondary (10+2 or equivalent) examination.
