The Institute of Company Secretaries (ICSI) is pleased to inform that in recognition of the exemplary services provided by the soldiers to the nation, it has been decided by Institute to grant fee concessions to the widows and wards of Martyrs of the Military and Para-Military Forces. ICSI Fee Concession Scheme will be applicable on furnishing the requisite certificate /identity card issued by the concerned Government Departments.
We hereby sharing the guidelines for Concession in Fee for Registration to CS Course to the Widows and Wards of Martyrs, Permanent Disability cases, Serving / Retired Personnel of Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and all paramilitary forces.
The ICSI Council at its meeting held on March 16, 2019, commendable the sacrifice of the personnel of Indian Armed forces and paramilitary forces for maintaining the security and sovereignty of the country and approved the Fee Concession to the families of Martyrs.

In a humble endeavour of the Institute in recognizing the contribution of the serving and retired personnel and as a goodwill gesture to the families of martyrs, the Institute has decided to grant the following concessions for registration to the CS Course:
1. 100% concession in full Fee payable at the time of Registration to various Stages of CS Course and Examination Fee to the wards and widows of martyrs of the armed forces.
2. 100% concession in full Fee payable at the time of Registration to various Stages of CS Course and Examination Fee to the personnel of Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and all paramilitary forces with permanent disability as a result of participating in act of war and other missions.
3. 50 per cent concession in full Fee payable at the time of Registration to various Stages of CS Course and Examination Fee to all In Service/ Retired personnel of Indian Army; Air Force; Navy and all paramilitary forces.
All other fees payable by the aforesaid category of students shall be as per the rates applicable to the general category students. These guidelines shall be effective from 1st April 2019.
Recently, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) had announced a new scheme where a Fee Concession Scheme is allowed for CMA Course for Defense Personnel and their son/ daughter.
Last year, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) had announced a merit-based scholarship scheme for the 75 wards of Military/Para Military/ Railways Personnel.
