IIM Kashipur Placements 2019: Indian Institute of Management Kashipur has successfully conducted the final placements for the PGP batch of 2017-19. For the 8th consecutive year, IIM Kashipur has recorded 100% placement, with a rise in average CTC to Rs. 12.18 lakhs PA and Highest domestic salary at Rs. 28 Lakhs PA.
A total of 194 students of IIM Kashipur’s PGP programme participated in the Final Placements process, and the batch received 218 offers from the 72 brands (Companies) participated in the campus recruitment process.

With 18% increase in the batch strength, IIM Kashipur has proved that it is not the least achiever while talking about the placements. The total offerings were 218 roles across various domains including BFSI, Consulting, Strategy, Sales and Marketing, IT & Analytics, HR and Operations.

BFSI sector offered the highest number of placements. Healthcare, FMCG, advertising, technology, manufacturing, operations, e-Commerce, and retail were the other sectors which offered students jobs.
The Chairperson (Placements) of IIM Kashipur Dr Kunal Ganguly said to the press conference that “The Institute has recorded a significant percent increase in placement statistics both in terms of package and diversity. The placement scene is the testimony of the belief that recruiters have on the students of the institute.”

Some of the prominent recruiters that have shown interest in IIM Kashipur students are ICICI Bank, RBL Bank, TATA Capital, HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, Aditya Birla, Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y, MAQ Software, Futures First, eClerx, Godrej, RECL, Reliance Jio, Coffee Day Beverages, JSPL, Tata Motors, OYO among others.

Marketing and Finance
30% of the batch opted for Sales & Marketing roles, companies offering Marketing roles offered profiles such as Agri-Marketing, B2B marketing, B2C marketing, Brand Manager, Campaign Manager, Category Manager, Channel Manager, Corporate Relations Executive.
Companies offering Finance roles offered profiles such as Asset Management, Wealth Management and Investment Analyst, 19% of the batch opted for Finance roles among others.

IT & Analytics, Operations
IT & Analytics companies offered profiles such as BFSI Analytics, Big-Data Services Management, Data Analytics Consultant, Financial Analytics, Growth Hacker, Product Quality Analyst, and Business Intelligence, amongst others. 17% of the batch opted for roles in IT & Analytics.
Companies offering Operations roles offered profiles such as Fleet Manager, Operations Manager, Senior Project Manager, Strategic Supply Chain Manager, and Operations Coordinator, amongst others. 16% of the batch opted for roles in Operations.
HR, Strategy & Consulting, General Management
Companies offering HR roles offered profiles such as an HR Generalist, HR Advisory, Global Initiative Manager, Strategic Performance, and HR Analytics, amongst others. 4% of the batch opted for HR roles.
3% of the batch opted for Strategy & Consulting roles, such as Corporate Advisory, Financial Consultant, Leadership and Group Strategy, Product Manager, Strategic Consulting, and Corporate Strategy, amongst others.
11% of the batch opted for General Management roles, such as Business Development Associate, Project Manager, New Business Initiatives, and Product Executive, amongst others.
