For the sixth year running, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) leads the way among top Universities in the World by the QS World University Rankings. Stanford and Harvard retained their positions in second and third place, while Caltech rose one place to fourth to displace the University of Cambridge.

The ranking identifies excellence in higher education in the most dynamic and fast-growing region in the world.

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay , IIT Delhi (IITD) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru, have found a place in the club of top 200 universities in the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings 2018.
