Symbiosis International Deemed University (SIU) will conduct a separate entrance exam for law course admissions, Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) in the May 2019 month. Through SLAT 2019 Score aspirants can secure admission to five-year integrated law programmes BA LLB and BBA LLB from Symbiosis Law Schools situated at Pune, Noida and Hyderabad.
Candidates interested in pursuing five-year integrated law programmes BA LLB and BBA LLB from Symbiosis Law Schools situated at Pune, Noida and Hyderabad need to register for SLAT 2019 before the last date i.e by the Second week of April 14, 2019.
SLAT earlier called as Symbiosis Law Entrance Test (SET Law) is the gateway for law degree admission to any of the three law schools of Symbiosis University. SLAT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should meet the following criteria to be considered eligible for SLAT, SET Law application form–
- The candidate must have qualified 10+2 examination from any recognized board.
- Minimum 45 per cent marks in aggregate need to have obtained by the General Candidate (40% marks for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes Category)
- Apart from this, candidates who have given their Class XII final examination and are awaiting results for the same also meet SLAT 2019 eligibility criteria.
Note: The SLAT official website informs that “candidates who have studied Arts/Social Science subjects during their qualifying examination may apply for BA LLB (Hons) programme. Similarly, candidates may apply for BBA LLB (Hons) programme, who have studied Commerce/Accounts/Mathematics/Sciences ”.
Candidates who belong to the below-mentioned categories also meet SLAT 2019 eligibility criteria under International Students Admissions category:
- Foreign National (FN)
- Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
- Non-Resident Indian (NRI)

SLAT 2019 is scheduled to be conducted across 85 test cities of the country. The Candidates will be given privilege to select any three test cities while registration.
How to fill SLAT 2019 Application Form?
- Click on the official link of SLAT 2019 application form
- Generate a SET 2019 ID and Password after registering for SLAT 2019.
- Login to the SLAT 2019 official portal through the generated SET ID.
- Fill the SLAT 2019 application form.
- Upload requisite documents including photograph and signature.
- Pay the SLAT 2019 application fees in the preferred mode.
- Candidates need to pay Rs. 1750, as registration fee for Symbiosis Law Admission Test through any of the three modes–Billdesk Gateway, Indian Bank Gateway and Demand Draft.
- A candidate has to pay Rs. 1000/- per programme per institute while filling the SLAT registration form to become eligible for the next phase of PI-WAT process after clearing SLAT cutoff score.
- Submit the SET Law (SLAT) application form.
SLAT Exam Pattern
Symbiosis Law Admission Test, an online entrance test to be held in the first week of May 2019, between 9:30 am to 12 noon by Symbiosis International University for admissions to undergraduate law programmes at the Symbiosis three law schools.
SLAT will be an online admission test which has 150 questions for 1 mark each question covering Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge. Total time of 150 minutes shall be given to candidates to solve these questions. For SLAT 2019, there will be no negative marking for any wrong answers.

SLAT 2019 Selection Procedure
Candidates who qualify SLAT 2019 entrance exam then need to appear for the Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) admission round for the individual institute. On declaration of SLAT result, each symbiosis law school will publish the list of shortlisted candidates who are eligible for PI-WAT process.
WAT includes writing a short essay on a given topic. These are the last and final step of the admission process for Symbiosis Law School. The final merit list containing names of shortlisted candidates for admission in law programmes offered at SLS can be checked by candidates on the official website of SLAT 2019.
