United Kingdom (UK) Business Schools dominate the overall QS Distance Online MBA Rankings 2016 capturing 7 of the top 10 positions with Warwick Business School moving up to the first rank pushing IE Business School of Spain to the second spot.
Only two US Schools, namely, Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business (4th rank), Naveen Jindal School of Management ( 7th Rank) at the University of Texas, Dallas figured in the top ten, a drop from 5 in the previous year’s rankings.
Alliance Manchester Business School, UK captured the 3rd rank. The other schools from the UK in the top ten were Oxford Brookes (5th rank), the Open University’s Business School (6th rank), Graduate School of Business, University of Strathclyde (8th rank), Durham University Business School (9th rank) and the Robert Gordon University (10th rank).

There are different categories namely Student Quality, Recruiters Reputation, Faculty & Teaching, Establishment, Diversity, Overall Score etc on which individual rankings are prepared.

While Warwick was on top in two categories, overall scores and recruiters reputation, Centrum Catolica of Peru captured the first rank, pushing Warwick to the eighth spot in student quality.
Similarly, in Established in online MBA market, the Open University School of Business of UK was ranked 1 and Warwick was on the 4th spot.
In faculty and teaching, Aston Business School, UK topped the list. Warwick was placed 13th.
In class experience, The Robert Gordon University, UK was first, followed by IE Business School. Warwick was ranked 15.
In diversity, Graduate School of Business of Florida University was ranked 1 followed by IE Business School in the 2nd spot. Warwick was 10th in this category.
There is not a single Asian institute in the Top 30 rankings. Disappointed
