ICAI announces One Time Measure for CA Students for Completion of MCS Course and Advanced IT Course through Virtual Mode. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the one-time measure for Completion of MCS Course and Advanced IT Course through Virtual Mode for the students who have passed/result withheld the CA Final Exam (May 2019 & November 2019) and students of Final course exam (July 2020 & November 2020).
In a notification issued by Students Skills Enrichment Board, BOS (Operations), ICAI said that, In view of the ongoing spurt of COVID-19 virus pandemic and subsequent suspension of IT and Soft Skills Classes all across the country, the competent authority has decided that the students of Final course exam (July 2020 & November 2020) and the students who have passed the Final exam/result withheld (May 2019 & November 2019) as a one-time measure can undergo Management and Communication Skills (MCS) and Advanced Information Technology (IT) Course through Virtual Mode.
The ICAI also said that, The students who have partially undergone the Course shall be completing the balance hours of the Course through virtual mode. The students who are yet to start the course shall be undergoing the complete course.
The students who have already paid the fees for physical classes through the online portal www.icaionlineregistration.org need not pay fees again in virtual mode. The undergoing Virtual MCS/Adv.IT portal will be LIVE on 1st June 2020.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India had earlier announced that it will conduct CA May 2020 examinations in July end-August. The decision was taken as a precautionary measure against the novel Coronavirus and ICAI had issued a notice regarding the same. The exams will be held across the country from July 29 to August 16 at various centres.
