Eligibility Criteria for Admissions
A Minimum aggregate of 60% in the qualifying degree examination for All Programmes. See table below for programme wise eligibility.

Note: Candidates with B.E./B.Tech degree in IT area will be eligible to apply for M.E. Software Systems only (they are not eligible for M.E. Computer science). They may also need some specific prior preparation.

Selection Procedure
For admission to Higher Degree programmes leading to M.E./M.Pharm. candidates have to appear in the Online tests conducted by BITS at designated centers in different cities and the admission is made on the basis of the performance in the online test subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

Assistantship (Stipend and Fee waiver)
Students admitted to the Higher Degree Programs will be considered for Teaching Assistantships with a stipend upto Rs. 11200/- per month and/or partial tuition fee waiver. Selected candidates will be required to participate in teaching and other developmental programs of the institute under the guidance of faculty members.
