CLAT 2020 Exam Pattern: The Common Law Admission Test, CLAT is an all India level entrance test which regulated by the Consortium of National Law Universities. CLAT is the well-known law entrance exam conducted by National Law Universities (NLUs) on the rotational basis every year for admission to Under-Graduate (UG) courses and postgraduation (Masters of Law) programme in law.
The next CLAT Exam will be held through offline mode on 10th May 2020. On the basis of CLAT score, a candidate can also get admission into various government & private law colleges all over the country.

CLAT 2020 Exam Pattern
The CLAT exam pattern for UG & PG programmes admission are given below:
CLAT Under Graduate (UG) Exam Pattern:
- Number and Type of Questions: 200 questions of objective type (multiple choice questions) will be asked in the examination.
- Language: The question asked in the exam paper will be in English language only.
- Total Marks:The maximum marks for CLAT 2020 UG entrance exam is 200.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong response.
- Exam Duration: 2 hours will be given to complete the test.

CLAT Post Graduate (PG) Exam Pattern:
- Questions: 150 MCQ type questions
- Total Marks: The maximum marks for CLAT 2020 PG entrance exam is 150.
- Type and Number of Questions: 150 questions of MCQ type will be asked in the exam.
- Medium of Exam: The questions asked in the exam paper will be in English language only.
- Exam Duration: 2 hours.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be rewarded and there will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

CLAT Syllabus 2020
There will be no prescribed CLAT 2020 syllabus. For UG courses, The paper of CLAT 2020 will contain 200 questions and from five different subjects involving English (Comprehension passgae, Grammer), General Knowledge & Current Affairs (Static general knowledge, Knowledge of national and international current affairs), Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability, taught up to 10th class), Legal Aptitude (study of law, research aptitude, Legal propositions and problem-solving ability) and Logical Reasoning (identification of patterns, logical links, rectify illogical arguments, Syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, etc.)
For PG courses, the questions will be asked from Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence and other law subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Environment Law and Human Rights topics.
