The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) has released the GATE 2021 schedule on the official GATE website. GATE 2021 examination for 27 papers will be conducted across 8 sessions in six days from February 5, 2021, to February 14, 2021.
In the latest notification, the GATE Online Application Procession System (GOAPS) portal has allowed the GATE 2021 registered candidates to change their choice of exam centres online by December 15, 2020, free of cost.
The GATE examination will be held in two shifts in a day —forenoon 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and in afternoon 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM. This year, owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, authorities have allowed the students to appear for more than one paper. The results of the GATE 2021 exam will be announced on March 22, 2021.

Miscellaneous Activities include conducting trial tests by zonal officers, preparing the exam centres, sanitization, seating arrangement, Scribe selection, briefing to invigilators, etc.

GATE 2021 Examination Admit Card
Admit Card will be available on the online application portal of GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) (for downloading and printing) from January 08, 2021, Friday.
GATE 2021 Examination
A candidate who will qualify for the GATE 2021, a national level entrance exam would not only open the gateway for postgraduate engineering courses (M.E., M.Tech, direct Ph.D.) in IISc/IITs/NITs but also can have the opportunity for PSU recruitment (Public Sector Undertakings).
All the test papers of GATE 2021 will be entirely objective type. The three-hour computer-based exam will be conducted for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions for a total of 100 marks.
The GATE 2021 examination result will be announced on March 22, 2021. GATE 2021 scorecard is valid for the 3 years from the date of the announcement of the results. After the announcement of the result, candidates will be called for the counseling process which will start in the month of April 2021.
