Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released the CS Foundation June 2019 timetable and schedule. The Computer Based Examination (CBE) for June 2019 will be on June 8 and June 9, 2019.
Admission to the Company Secretary (CS) programme is open throughout the year. ICSI conducts CS Foundation Examinations twice a year in the month of June & December month. To be awarded the CS certificate, one has to pass through 3 stages of CS programme namely CS Foundation, CS Executive & CS Professional programme.
The examination for the CS foundation programme is computer-based examination while Executive and Professional programmes are pen paper based exams.
ICSI has announced the timetable for Company Secretaries, CS Foundation Examinations June 2019 attempt as below.

CS Foundation Registration Last Dates
CS Foundation Registration is open throughout the year. ICSI has declared the registration cutoff dates for the Candidates to appear in June or December examination. Students who have registered up to and including the month of March are eligible to take Foundation examination earliest in the December month of the same year and those registered up to and including September can take up the examination in next year’s June month subject to satisfactory completion of coaching.
So, if you want to write CS Foundation exam in Dec 2019, you should register before 31st March 2019 and for CS Foundation exam in June 2019, you would have registered before September 30, 2019.
Eligibility for CS Foundation
- Candidates who have cleared Senior Secondary (10+2 or equivalent) examination of a Board/University constituted by law in India or any examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto can join the CS Foundation Programme.
- There is no requirement of minimum percentage of marks secured at Senior Secondary (10+2 or equivalent) examination.
