The registration process for IIT Delhi M.Tech admission 2020 has already started and the last date to submit the application form has been extended till May 10. GATE 2020 was conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9.
Admissions will be done on the basis of the candidate’s Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score as well as the performance in online interview.
Along with registering at the official website of IIT Delhi, the candidates will also have to fill the application form of COAP (Common Offers Acceptance Portal). For MTech admissions through GATE score, candidates will have to apply both at the individual institute and the COAP.
The first round to view offers and chose the institute of choice will begin from May 27. The process has been postponed, which was earlier scheduled to be held on May 13. There will be five rounds. The last round will be held from June 24 to 25, as per the revised schedule.
The COAP was designed by IITs to put both IITs and PSUs on the same platform and ensure that candidates can make informed choices. It was found that many candidates dropped out of IIT MTech seats after taking a job in a PSU. Generally, PSUs conduct their recruitment separately.
AfterGraduation wishes all the very best to GATE qualified Candidates for MTech Admission and PSU Recruitment.
