The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has postponed the CS June-2020 exam by a month, due to the on going national Lockdown. Earlier, the CS exams were scheduled to be held from June 1 to 10, 2020. Now exams will be held in the July month.
The ICSI after due consideration of the prevalent situation of coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown and physical (social) distancing has decided to postpone its June 2020 session Examinations of Foundation, Executive, Professional Programme and Post Membership Qualification (PMQ).
According to the ICSI latest notification, the CS June 2020 exams of Foundation, Executive and Professional programme and post membership qualification (PMQ) will begin from July 6. The detailed revised schedule will be announced later by the Institute.

The latest notice about the postponement of CS June exam 2020 was published on the ICSI website on Thursday. The notice reads, “The Institute of company Secretaries of India, after due consideration of the prevalent situation and subsequent lockdown, due to Covid -19, has decided to postpone its Examinations (June – 2020 session) of Foundation, Executive and Professional Programme and Post Membership Qalification (PMQ) scheduled to be held from 1st June, 2020 to 10th June, 2020. The examinations of the above session will now commence from 6th July 2020. The Revised schedule will be announced later.”
ICSI will conduct computer-based examination for CS Foundation Programme and pen-paper mode examinations for CS Executive and CS Professional programme. The revised dates will be released in due course of time.

Earlier, ICSI had extended the deadline to register for CS June 2020 Exams till April 15 and for CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) till May 05, 2020. In view of the postponement of CS examinations (June – 2020 session), candidates who have registered for CS June 2020 session of examination can submit the online requests for change of examination centre / combination of module(s)/ medium and also for cancellation of paper-wise exemptions upto Friday, the 5th June, 2020 23:59 Hours.
Also, ICSI temporarily relax the conditions for June 2020 session of Examinations pertaining to Pre-Examination Test and One Day Orientation Programme. Accordingly, the students are allowed to comply with the above requirements by 17:00 Hours, on 31st May 2020.
The postponement of ICSI June Exam 2020 for all the courses, comes as a great relief for the students, who have been worried about appearing for the exam during this stressful time of COVID-19.
