In view of the lockdown amid coronavirus pandemic, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has extended the registration deadline for the CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET). The ICSI first CSEET 2020 exam is proposed to be held on Thursday, the May 28, 2020. A notice regarding this deadline extension decision has been uploaded on the ICSI official website.
The last date for submission of application for the first CS Executive Entrance Test was April 15, 2020. However, considering the current situation and difficulties prevailing in the country, ICSI has extended the deadline for the first CSEET registration form to May 5, 2020.
ICSI has said in the notice that “In view of the current situation and difficulties being experienced by the students due to Novel Coronovirus (COVID-19) outbreak, it has been decided to extend the last date of CSEET registration appearing in May 2020 session to Tuesday, the 5th May 2020 up to 23:59 Hours“.
The CSEET will be conducted in computer-based mode and exam paper would comprise questions from Paper 1 (Business Communication), Paper 2 (Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning), Paper 3 (Economic and Business Environment) and Paper 4 (Current Affairs, Presentation and Communication Skills).

ICSI has also extended the deadline for CS exam form submission and has waived the late fees for submission of examination enrollment application for June, 2020 session of examination.
The last date for submission of CS June 2020 examination enrollment application has been extended upto 15th April, 2020 in place of 25th March and after the said date no examination enrollment application shall be accepted under any circumstances. Now, Candidates can now submit their applications for CS June 2020 Exams till April 15.
Ealier, ICSI discontinued the CS Foundation programme and announced to conduct CSEET for admission to CS Executive programme. The first CSEET will be held in May 2020 and the next tests will be held in July 2020, November 2020, and January 2021.
