Symbiosis International University (Deemed) has issued the Covid 19 guidelines and exam instructions which the candidates are expected to follow on the SNAP 2020 exam day which is scheduled to take place thrice in December 2020 and January 2021 months.
This year, SNAP 2020 will be conducted three times on – 20 Dec 2020, 06 January 2021, and 09 January 2021, and candidates can appear twice for the exam. This year there has been a reduction in the total number of questions as well.
SNAP 2020 Exam Day Instructions
- It is mandatory to carry a colored print out of the SNAP Test 2020 admit card along with an original and valid photo ID proof. Any one of the following IDs will be accepted. 1. Voter ID Card 2. Passport 3. Driving License 4. Aadhar Card/ Full Page Printout of E- Aadhar Card letter 5. PAN Card.
- Ensure to arrive at the assigned SNAP 2020 exam center latest by 09:00 a.m and be seated latest by 10:30 a.m.
- Request for change of test centre will NOT be entertained.
- Paste the latest passport size color photograph on this SNAP 2020 Test Admit Card at the place provided.
- Get the SNAP 2020 admit card stamped by the invigilator at the test centre.
- None of the electronic gadgets like cameras, cell phones, laptops calculators, beepers, etc are allowed inside the exam venue on the SNAP 2020 exam day.
SNAP Important Instructions related to COVID 19
- On the day of SNAP 2020, candidates must maintain social distancing and avoid overcrowding at the test centre.
- Candidates are advised not to have parents, friends accompanying them to the SNAP 2020 exam centre.
- The temperature of the candidates will be checked at the SNAP exam centre by using a Thermo gun
- Those candidates who will exhibit COVID 19 symptoms, they would not be permitted to appear for the exam
- At the registration desk of SNAP 2020, the photograph of the candidates will be captured and also they would be required to sanitize their hands
- Candidates must ensure that they stand in circles that are drawn at the entry points and maintain social distancing.
- The medium of the test is English.
- Once the SNAP Test 2020 starts, a candidate will not be allowed to leave the Computer Lab/ Test Hall for any reason. Once if the candidate leaves the Computer Lab/ Test Hall, re-entering the Computer Lab/ Test Hall will not be allowed.
- Candidates found violating the instructions of the test invigilator will be disqualified.
What to carry at the SNAP 2020 exam centre?
Candidates are required to carry with them the following items as they appear for the SNAP 2020 exam.
- Colour copy of the Admit Card with recent passport size photograph pasted in the space provided.
- Government issue photo ID proof in original.
- Mask
- Sanitizer (50 ml)
- Gloves
- Small transparent water bottle
- Black / Blue simple ball pen
About SNAP 2020 Test
SNAP Test 2020 will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, simultaneously, across 94 cities in India.
This year, the SNAP 2020 exam will be of one-hour duration as compared to in the past when it was for two hours. There has been a change in the SNAP exam pattern also as there has been a reduction in the total number of questions which will be asked.
Also SNAP 2020 will be conducted three times (20 December 2020 (Sunday), 06 January 2021 (Wednesday), and 09 January 2021 (Saturday)) from 11: 00 am to 12:00 noon and candidates can appear for the SNAP exam twice.
SNAP Test 2020 results will be announced on Friday, January 22, 2021.
