The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) releases on its official website the status of applications of candidates who have applied for the opt-out facility of the CA Nov 2020 Exam. Candidates of the ICAI CA January-February 2021 exam can check the status of their application on the official website till December 26.
The official announcement on the ICAI website reads, “In continuation of announcement dated 7th November 2020 provided an opt-out facility to the examinees of November 2020 exams to appear in January/ May 2021 examinations, based on candidates opted out/appeared, list of candidates eligible to appear in January/ May 2021 has been finalized.”
Students can check the position from their dashboard at icaiexam.icai.org for the activity tab “OptOut Status Display/City Change for Jan-Feb2021/ May 21 examinations“.
Candidates appearing for January- February 2021 CA exams have an opportunity to apply for the change of their exam city. The correction window for candidates seeking a change of test city for ICAI CA January 2021 exams will be closed by December 26. All those candidates who are interested to change their exam city can apply for a different exam city at icaiexam.icai.org before the last date i.e till 11:59 pm (IST) on December 26, 2020.
How To Change Exam City for CA January 2021 Exams?
Step 1: Go to icaiexam.icai.org
Step 2: Click on the ‘Login/ Register’ tab
Step 3: Enter your login ID and password
Step 4: Submit and check the account. A Dashboard will be displayed.
Step 5: On the application, check the option in the menu for “change exam centre”.
The CA cycle two exams will start on January 21, 2021. All those students who were unable to take the exams scheduled from November 21 to December 14, 2020, will be able to appear for Cycle 2 of CA exams in January/ February 2021.
According to the ICAI, the foundation course exam will be conducted on January 21, 23, 25, and 28. The intermediate course exam under the old scheme for the group I will be held on January 22, 24, 27, 29, and group II from February 1, 3, and 5. The IPC course exam, under the new scheme, will be held on January 22, 24, 27, and 29, while group-II on February 1, 3, 5, and 7.
The Final Course Examination under the old syllabus will be held on 21st, 23rd, 25th & 28th January 2021 for Group -I while for Group -II examinations will be held on 30th January 2021, 2nd, 4th, and 6th February 2021.
