CCMT Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan. organized by National Institute of Technology is an online process for admission in postgraduate programmes in regional technical institutes which include 30 NIT and 10 CFTIs. This year, CCMT 2018 will be conducted by National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur.
This centralized system CCMT has replaced the older system of postgraduate programme admissions, wherein students had to apply to various Institutes individually and need to visit every Institute for appearing in their admission process of interview/ counselling. This Centralized counselling CCTM has provided a system to M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan. aspirants wherein the students can fill one application form online and that will be applied to all students’ selected programmes in all the participating institutions to which they are eligible and interested.
The CCMT 2018 application form will be available from April 3, 2018, onwards. The candidates need to fill the application form with their selected choices of courses and institutes sought for admission through CCMT 2018.
GATE scores will be one of the selection parameters for the admission process. The admission to the students will be provided according to their merit, selection of courses, institutes’ eligibility criteria and availability of seat in institute through CCMT 2018.

CCMT 2018 Admission Process
The admission process will broadly involve the following six stages:
- Online registration,
- Course and Institute Choice Filling
- Locking of choices at Official website
- Online seat allotment through System
- Seat Acceptance fee deposit by applicants
- Personal Reporting at a Reporting Center
- Payment of seat confirmation fee, institute’s balance fee and joining the allotted institute
- Reporting at the allotted Institute and pay the Institute balance fee as per the allotted Institute fee.

CCMT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
The following eligibility criteria are required to be eligible for admissions to M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan/M.Des courses through CCMT 2018:
- The candidates must have a valid GATE score of any of the year 2016/2017/2018.
- In the qualifying degree, the candidates should have secured minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% (for OC/OB Categories Students) and 6.0 CGPA or 55% (in case of SC/ST/PwD categories Students) from a recognized University/Institute.
- If the Candidate is in final year and the result of the qualifying examination is awaited, then provisional admission will be provided if the student meets the minimum requirements latest by September 2018.
- Conversion from CGPA to the percentage or vice versa awarded by individual institute/university will not be allowed.
- Every programme will have their specific eligibility criteria, so depends on the combination of degree, streams and GATE exam.
