The CLAT 2018 result has been declared. Following the Supreme Court’s order, National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) Kochi has announced the CLAT 2018 result on Thursday, May 31, 2018. The results are available on the official website of CLAT at clat.ac.in.
While over 50,000 applicants appeared for CLAT 2018 online paper on May 13, 2018, for admissions to five-year integrated law programmes, only 2300 of these will be able to reach their destined India’s top law Institutes – National Law University (NLU) for pursuing their career in law. CLAT 2018 Scores will be a measure for offering admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes in the 19 NLUs which are participating in CLAT 2018.
Jaipur boy, Aman Garg emerged as the topper in the national level law entrance examination. The first three positions were secured by students from Jaipur, who happen to be friends and studied at the same coaching institute. Students can check their result using registration number/ roll number and date of birth. To check the CLAT result, students can directly log on here.
Immediately after the result declaration, several students complained that the result link was not responding. Students who had appeared for this Law entrance exam for admission to LLM courses particularly faced difficulty in accessing their results.
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2018 was held on May 13 for admission to 19 National Law Universities in the country. National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi conducted the exam. Immediately after the exam, CLAT aspirants started posting about the issues they faced during the exam.

This year CLAT exam has been under much criticism because of the ‘mismanagement in the exam centres’ as reported by many students.
Several petitions were filed by the students, who appeared for the exam, at High Courts and subsequently at Supreme Court. Supreme Court directed NUALS, Kochi to look into the matter and resolve the grievances of the students by May 30. NUALS had set up a two-member committee headed by retired Kerala High Court judge Justice M R Hariharan Nair, to look into complaints received by students who had appeared in the exam.
Supreme Court ordered NUALS to declare the results as per the schedule notified earlier.
How to Check CLAT 2018 Result
CLAT 2018 result will be available online till June 6, 2018. The CLAT 2018 takers can follow the given below steps to check their CLAT 2018 Result –
1. Click on the official link to CLAT 2018 Result.
2. Enter CLAT 2018 Roll number and Date of Birth.
3. Click on ‘Result’ tab provided in the CLAT 2018 login accounts of the respective test taker.
4. Check the scores/ marks secured in CLAT 2018.
5. Download CLAT scorecard and result sheet 2018.
6. Print a copy of CLAT result 2018.

After CLAT 2018 Result
After the announcement of CLAT 2018 results, the law aspirants will be prepared for the next phase that will be the admissions into the National Law Universities through CLAT Counselling 2018. The candidates should also note that they need to meet the CLAT 2018 Cut Off to get a seat in NLU and called for CLAT 2018 Counselling.
