The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, ICSI has released the notification regarding important dates /schedule /timeline for Company Secretary (CS) Foundation, Executive, and Professional courses 2018 – 2019. ICSI provide various Cut-Off Dates of CS Course for the year 2018-19 pertaining to the Students. Students can now aim their CS goal in a better way with proper planning.
The given notification contains last dates / cut off dates / due dates for Acceptance of Applications for Admission, Receipt of Examination Enrollment Application, Applying for Paper-wise Exemption, Applying for Registration De Novo / Extension of Registration, Result announcement date etc for CS Foundation, Executive, and Professional Course.
As ICSI mission to move fully digital (online mode), so it will accept all admission procedure through online mode only. It is clarified that on the scheduled cut-off date even if there is a holiday/Off-day, there shall be no change in the prescribed cut-off date as online services can be availed 24×7 anytime from anywhere at institute’s website.

Stages to Become a Company Secretary
The student who would like to join the Course after 10+2 pass or equivalent has to undergo three stages to pursue the Company Secretaries Course i.e.
- Foundation Programme
- Executive Programme
- Professional Programme
The Student who would like to join the Course after passing the Graduation has to undergo two stages of the Company Secretaryship i.e.
Executive Programme
- Executive Programme can be pursued by a Graduate of all streams (except Fine Arts).
- A student who has passed the CPT passed of ICAI / Foundation Program passed of ICAI-CMA is also eligible to take admission in CS Executive Programme.
Professional Programme
- Professional Programme can be pursued only after clearing the Executive Programme of CS Course.
