The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIMI) has successfully completed the campus placements of Post Graduate Programme (PGP) 2017-19 and 5-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) batch. IIM Indore Placements 2019 has secured the 100% placements for its outgoing batch of 607 students in its postgraduate programme.
IIM Indore Placements 2019 witness the highest international package of Rs 89.25 LPA with a rise of 41% compared to the package offered last year placement of Rs 63.45 LPA. The highest domestic package offered at IIM Indore is also increased by 21% to Rs 40.5 LPA as compared to last year of Rs 33.04 LPA.
In a press conference, the director of IIM Indore Himanshu Rai stated that “We are delighted by the faith that the top companies of the country and the MNCs have reposed in our students. In the years to come, we will continue to strengthen our engagement with the industry and ensure that we continue to create socially conscious responsible leaders.”
Including the 57 first time recruiters to IIM Indore, a more than 200 recruiters have participated in the IIM Indore placements 2019. The average salary of the complete batch goes up to Rs 20.79 LPA as compared to Rs 18.17 LPA in the Year 2018 placements. Also, the average salary for 5-years IPM batch is increased to Rs 17.01 LPA. The median salary for current batch stood at Rs 19.4 LPA. The maximum recruitments were done for the domains like consulting, Sales & Marketing and Finance fields.

The top recruiters included Theocentric Consulting, Vector Consulting, Bain Capability, Boston Consulting Group, i3 Consulting, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Avalon Consulting, Cognizant Business Consulting, Ernst & Young, Infosys Management Consulting, Synergy Consulting, Deloitte USI, Everest Group, IQVIA, PwC India, PwC US Management Consulting, SKP Consulting and UnitedHealth Group.
Finance
Around 26% of the graduating batch opted the Finance domain. The top recruiters under Finance domain- JPMorgan Chase & Co, Yes Bank, Philips, Aditya Birla Capital, Edelweiss, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Mahindra, Axis Bank, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, HDFC, Bank of America Continuum, HSBC, DHFL Pramerica, ICICI, Credit Suisse, CRISIL, Fidelity Investments, Goldman Sachs, India Ratings, Indus Valley Partners, Royal Bank of Scotland, State Street Corporation and Syngenta.

Sales & Marketing
Around 22% of the batch opted this domain. Around 10% of the students were recruited under the Information Technology & Analytics domain. The top companies like – General Electric, Wipro, Tata Consultancy, Accenture Technologies, Mahindra Comviva, Infosys BPM, Capgemini, HP, L&T Technology, Intel, IBM, Google, Axtria, HCL, FIS Global, Hexaware, MAQ Software and Tredence Analytics.
HR & Operations and General Management
This domain recruited 15% of the batch size in the placements. The companies which recruited under the domain GM are – Tata Communications, Airtel, PayTM, Reliance Industries, Amazon, Trident Group, Jindal Steel & Power, American Express, Suzlon Energy, MakeMyTrip, Rural Electrification Corporation, GMR Group, JSW Group, Rebel Foods among others.
For the HR & Operations domain placements, the companies that came for the recruitments are – Jaguar Land Rover, Vishal Mega Mart, Willis Towers Watson, Essel Group, Aditya Birla Retail, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, Godrej & Boyce, Cipla, Prataap Snacks, Whirlpool, ICICI Bank, L&T and Prataap Snacks.
