IIM Sirmaur, one of the newer IIMs that started operation in 2015 and is mentored by IIM Lucknow, has concluded final placement 2019 for its 3rd batch 2017-19. The Highest domestic package offered at IIM Sirmaur Placement 2019 is Rs. 16 LPA and the average salary for the batch is Rs. 9.2 LPA.
IIM Sirmaur Placement 2019 witnessed a record 40% rise in the number of recruiters. A total of 63 companies had participated in the IIM Sirmaur recruitment 2019 process, compared to 45 last year. The size of the third batch of IIM Sirmaur has grown to 63 students, compared to 35 students in the second batch. Out of 63 students, 56 participated in placement.

Prominent recruiters at IIM Sirmaur Placement 2019 include GMR, Reliance Industries, DS Group, ICICI Bank, OYO, Mu Sigma, Career Launcher, ZS, Muthoot, EY, TresVista, JIO, HDFC Bank, Tredence, DCM SHRIRAM, RAK, Schindler, TCS, KENT, DTDC, Karvy, IndiaMart, Cloudtail, Mindtree, Edcil, Ericsson, Hunt Partners, VT Netzvelt, Jasper Colin Research, Khimji Ramdas, Parikh Group among others.
Functional Roles offered in IIM Sirmaur Placements
38% of students were offered roles in General Management. 31% of the batch was placed in the Sales and Marketing domain followed by Operations with 12% of students getting placement in it. IT & Analytics offered placement to 9% of students, Roles offered for Consultancy & Strategy were 7% and 3% of students were placed in Finance domain.
Despite being new in the family of IIMs, it is the fast upcoming IIM among the 20 IIMs. More Placement offers per student were recorded at IIM Sirmaur for its 2017-19 batch.

The size of 3rd batch 2017-19 of IIM Sirmaur comprises 63 students (including 15 girls) in PGP. Out of 63 students, 56 were successfully placed through the institute’s Placement Cell as early as mid-March 2019, while 5 opted out of placements, result of 1 student is awaited and the other 1 was placed through his own sources.
The batch has a diverse background ranging from Economics, Finance, Commerce, Literature, Management, Mining, Marine, Electronics, Computer, IT, Chemical, Production, Mechanical, Electrical among others.

Currently, IIM Sirmaur is operating from its temporary campus at the Himachal Institute of Technology (HIT), Paonta Sahib in the Sirmaur. The IIM Sirmaur permanent campus is coming up at the national highway in Dhaula Kuan near Nahan town on 210 acres of land.
