Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IITP) will open the admission for its post-graduation programme M.Tech in the third week of the March 2019. The IIT Patna MTech admission 2019 will be the fulcrum on the valid GATE score candidates can apply to the admission process, read the eligibility criteria carefully.
The postgraduate programme M.Tech courses offered by IIT Patna, not only provide theoretical knowledge to students but also train them to fit the needs of industry. IIT Patna provides hands-on training and practical exposure which helps the students to match the requirements of industry and secure lucrative jobs.
Candidates will also have to register through Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) along with filling the application form of IIT Patna M.Tech 2019, if they miss out on any one of them, their registration will be considered as incomplete.

Eligibility Criteria IIT Patna MTech Admission 2019
As only GATE qualifiers can apply for the admission to IIT Patna M.Tech programme of 2019 but the students who are graduated from IITs can also apply for the admission process. Below are the eligibility criteria to apply for IIT Patna MTech admission 2019
- The students, who wish to be in IIT Patna for the M.Tech programme 2019 without any GATE examination, should have the degree of B.Tech from any IIT across the country.
- The B.Tech degree holders from IITs can get the direct admission for M.Tech programme in IIT Patna if they are having the aggregate 8 CGPA out of 10 in B.Tech degree.
- The candidates applying through the GATE process should have valid GATE scores and should have B.Tech/B.E degree with at least 60% of marks to be eligible for IIT Patna MTech admission process.
- The candidates who belong to the reservation category should have at least 55% marks in their B.Tech/B.E degrees for the admission in M.Tech programme.

IIT Patna M.Tech 2019 Application Form
IIT Patna will release its application form for M.Tech programme 2019 in the third week of March 2019 (tentative). This time candidates will also have to register for Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) along with the application form or else the form will be considered as incomplete.
Filling the Application Form
- Candidates should have to register themselves by login through the official website of IIT Patna.
- Candidates should have to fill all the details asked in the form and follow the instructions.
- Candidates can pay the application fees online through Debit/Credit card or Net Banking. The application form fees for General/OBC category will have to pay Rs. 300 and the other reserved category candidates have to pay Rs. 150.

Below documents are required to be attached along with the application form. It should be noted that all documents should not exceed 500 KB in size.
- Scanned Photograph (Passport size)
- Scanned signature of the candidate
- Scanned copy of (class X) certificate or date of birth certificate
- GATE Score document
- Qualifying degree and mark sheet
- Caste Certificate (If applicable)
- PWD Certificate (If applicable)
