The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a standardized, worldwide level entrance examination for admission to law schools/Institutions across the US, Canada, and many other countries. USA based Law School Admission Council (LSAC) will conduct LSAT 2019 India on Sunday, May 26, 2019, earlier it was scheduled for May 19, 2019.
The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is administered 6 times each year at designated testing centres throughout the world. In India, LSAT exam is conducted only once a year. Through this exam, Indian candidates can get the opportunity to get admission in law courses offered in various institutes affiliated with LSAC.
LSAT India 2019 will be conducted in paper-pencil mode across the 22 exam centres in around 20 cities of India. Candidates need to appear in LSAT India 2019 exam to seek admission into the undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes (BA LLB, three-year LLB and LLM). By conducting the law entrance examination LSAT 2019 India, Pearson VUE on behalf of LSAC will offer seats to more than 50 law schools of India.
Interested and eligible Candidates must submit their LSAT 2019 Application form on or before the last date of application form i.e May 15, 2019. LSAT is a way of measuring the candidate’s reading, verbal and reasoning abilities which serve as an important factor in law school admissions.

LSAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria
For LSAT-India 2019 exam Pearson VUE has announced the following eligibility criteria. Candidate must be an Indian citizen and there is no age bar to appear in LSAT India 2019 exam. The candidates should meet the basic eligibility according to that particular Institution or University also where the student is seeking law courses admission. Some basic eligibility criteria for LSAT 2019:
For BA LLB Course
- Qualifying Exam and Marks: Candidate must pass the 12th or equivalent exam under 10+2 education system from a recognized board. Candidate must obtain the minimum 45% marks.
For LLB Courses
- Qualifying Exam and Marks: Candidates should have a bachelor degree in any subject with the minimum 45% marks in aggregate in qualifying exam.
For LLM Course
- Qualifying Exam and Marks: Candidates should have passed 3 years of LLB or 5 years of BA. LL.B integrated law programme with minimum 45% marks in aggregate. Final year Appearing candidates can also apply.

LSAT 2019 Registration (India)
The registration for LSAT 2019 can be done online through the official website of LSAT India. The registration process has started from October 04, 2018 and LSAT 2019 aspirants can register online till May 15, 2019. The LSAT India 2019 registration fee is Rs. 3800/- without official LSAT India handbook. The applicants can remit the application fee through online payment options- Credit/Debit Card or net banking.

LSAT 2019 Exam Pattern
LSAT 2019 exam will have 100 questions for the candidates to be attempted in 140 minutes. All the questions in this law entrance exam will be of multiple choice format where candidates will be provided with four options out of which one would be the correct option. The LSAT 2019 exam pattern is mentioned below:
- The exam will be held in pen- paper based mode i.e offline.
- There will be 4 sections in the LSAT question paper.
- The exam duration will be 140 minutes. For each section, 25 minutes will be given.
- The question will be of an objective (Multiple Choice Question) types.
- One mark will be awarded for the correct answer of each question.
- There is no negative marking in this exam.
