IPMAT 2020 Application Process Begins for IIM Indore’s 5-Year IPM Course

The application process for the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test, IPMAT 2020 is released in online mode. IPMAT, a national level test is a gateway for admission to the 5-Year Integrated Program in Management offered at Indian Institute of Management Indore.

IPMAT 2020 schedule has been announced and the exam will be held on April 30, 2020. Candidates can fill the application form for Integrated Programme in Management admission test of IIM Indore till March 30. The IPMAT 2020 registration has started from February 17, 2020.

IPM AT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

In order to appear for the IPMAT exam in this year, a candidate must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the exam as mentioned below-

• General and NC-OBC Category: Minimum of 60 per cent aggregate in class 10^th/SSC and class 12^th/ HSC or equivalent examination.
• SC/ST and PWD (DA) Category: Minimum of 55 per cent aggregate in class 10^th/SSC and class 12^th/ HSC or equivalent examination.
• Candidates who are in standard XII/ HSC or equivalent and likely to have meet the eligibility criteria by the end of June 30, 2020, can also apply.
• Age Limit (as on August 01, 2020) –
  • For general category candidates – 20 years of age.
  • The SC/ST category candidates should not be more than 22 years of age. 

How to Fill IPMAT Application Form 2020?

While filling the application form for IIM Indore 5-Year IPM candidates have to provide important information such as their Personal Details, Academic Qualification, and Contact Information. Follow the below steps to fill the IPMAT Application form –

Step 1 – Click on the official website of IPMAT.

Step 2 – Register as a IPMAT new candidate.

Step 3 – Relogin to IPMAT 2020 official website and fill the application form

Step 4 – Upload the necessary documents as requested.

Step 5 – Online Pay the application fee through Debit card/Credit Card/net Banking.

Step 6 – Download and take print out the submitted application form.

IPMAT Exam Pattern

IPMAT 2020 will be conducted online (computer-based mode). A total of 100 questions need to be attempted in 2 hour duration. The questions will be from broadly two areas – Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability. The sections are time bounded, and are as follows:

IPMAT Marking Scheme

• Each correct answer fetched four marks.
• Negative marking of one mark is applicable for each incorrect answer. For the Quantitative Ability- Short Answer section, there was no negative marking.

IIM Indore’s IPM Selection Process

The selection procedure of IIM Indore’s IPM includes an Online aptitude test (IPM Aptitude Test) followed by a written Ability test (WAT) and personal interview (PI). Final selection of the candidates will be based on their academic performance, general awareness, IPM Aptitude Test score and communication skills.
