Law Aspirants must note that the application form for MHCET Law 2020 exam, conducted at a state level and commonly known as Law entrance test of Maharashtra released in online mode. MHCET Law stands for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law admission to the 3-year LLB & 5-year Integrated LLB programmes offered by the colleges across Maharashtra.
The MH CET law 5-year LLB entrance test will be conducted on April 12, in online mode, for which the admit card will be released on March 27, 2020. Applications for the 3-year LLB program will commence on March 19 till May 6, the last date to submit the application. Successfully registered applicants will be issued MHCET law admit card 2020 on June 5 while the entrance test will be held on June 28, in online mode.
The MHCET law tests the law aspirants on various topics such as Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning and knowledge of English language through the objective type questions.

Eligibility Criteria of MHCET Law 2020 Exam
The eligibility criteria details are mentioned below here:
- The applicant for this exam must be a resident of India.
- The Foreign or NRI candidates are also eligible to apply for this exam.
- There is no age criterion for the examination.
- For LLB 5-year programme, students must have passed 12th or equivalent exam (for eg. 3-year diploma in engineering) from any recognized board securing 45% marks for General candidates, 42% marks for OBC/SBC/VJ/DT candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates belonging to Maharashtra .
- For LLB 3-Year course admission, an applicant must be a graduate or post-graduate from a recognized university with minimum 45% marks for general, 42% marks for OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates belonging to Maharashtra. The final year candidates can also apply for the MH CET law exam for 3 year LLB programme admission.
Application Form MHCET Law 2020 Exam
- The MH CET Law 2020 online application form for 5-year LLB has been released on January 21; the last date of application submission is March 2.
- The MH CET Law 2020 Application forms for 3-year LLB programme will be released on March 19, 2020.
- The application form requires you to follow the instructions and fill the correct and proper information related to the name, date of birth, e-mail id and mobile number.
- Candidates need to upload their scanned images of passport size photograph and specimen signature.
- After completing this entire process, a candidate has to make a payment for the application form fee through online mode via debit/credit card or net banking.
- The MH CET Law application fee for General category candidate is Rs. 800 and for SC/ST/OBC candidate the fees is Rs. 400.

MHCET Law Exam Pattern
- This exam will be conducted in the online mode exam (Computer-based test).
- There will be a total of 150 multiple choices questions will be asked in the examination to be attempted in 120 minutes
- The question language will be English and Marathi.
- The exam pattern are quite similar for both the LLB 3-years and 5-year entrance exam, however, Basic Mathematics is added along with the common subjects in 5-Year integrated LLB Syllabus.
- No negative marking for the incorrect answer. 1 mark will be awarded for a correct answer for each question.
