The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) releases the detailed notification for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2021 on its official website upsc.gov.in. The UPSC NDA 2021 application process has begun on December 30 and the forms will continue to remain open till 6:00 pm on January 19, 2021. The online applications can be withdrawn from January 27 to February 2 till 6 pm.
Candidates willing for admission in Army, Navy, and Air Force Wings of NDA for 147th Course and for 109th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing for 02 January 2022 can apply for UPSC NDA 2021 Recruitment. The last date for UPSC NDA Registration is 19 January 2021. UPSC NDA-1 2021 Exam is scheduled to be held on 18 April 2021.
UPSC will fill a total of 400 vacancies through this recruitment exam. Of the total 400 seats, 370 seats will be filled in National Defence Academy (NDA) and the rest 30 seats in the Naval Academy (NA). UPSC NDA NA 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Age: As per the official notice, only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 2002 and not later than July 1, 2005, are only eligible.
Education Qualification: Applicants should have at least a class 12 level of education.
- For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
- For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass with Physics and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in class 12 exams under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.

How to Apply for UPSC NDA NA 2021?
Step 1: Visit the UPSC official website to apply for National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I).
Step 2: Read the detailed instructions and confirm whether you read important instructions properly.
Step 3: Complete Part – 1 registration with your personal details.
Step 4: After filling in the details, check it and press “Continue” at the bottom of the page.
Step 5: Fill in the part-II form.
Step 6: Pay the application fee and submit. Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. Those belonging to SC, ST category, NCO, ORs are exempted from paying any fee.

UPSC NDA NA Selection Procedure
The selection will be done on the basis of performance in the Written Test (900 Marks) and SSB Interview/Personality Test (900 Marks).
NDA NA 2021 Exam Pattern
There will be objective-type questions in the exam. The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:
